Nice to hear an update.
I will start playing EF again...
Will these changes be in the current EF Steam Beta Version?
I really want to restart my work as Balancer since all of us stopped more or less working.

I agree that PE vs Soviet or OH vs Brits is not fairly but just one point:
You say Landsers are too strong vs Rifles. If we make the Landsers weaker then they are balanced vs US but not any longer vs Conscripts.
The point is: Its not possible to Balance EF Factions vs every other Faction.
And like many people said already, we dont change vanilla Factions.

The only thing we can do is:
Finding and testing out strategies for EF Factions vs OF Factions.
Thats my opinion.

It is possible to win with every Faction if you play right. Yes, PE and Brits are broken at some points but you can counter every Unit
even if its difficult. If you cant handle a PE blob -> get vehicles, lay down mine, get MGs and so on.

We have atm only access to the originall sounds (PE and WE).
Of cource it would be awesome to create own Ostheer voices but this is imho too much work.

Basicly i think the Pool System is fine now.
I played some games and i talked to many other Players and i think its more a training problem (i know players who hated the pool system and changed theit opinion after the 10th + game). Maybe some little changes are possible but imho the Pool system is almost finaly...

Difficult to answer, each Unit has its two sides.
Imho it depends on a few things:

-what Units you have to fight against?

-what "support units" do you get?

A single Elefant is almost useless because most of enemy Tanks can flank it.
But on Long Range and 1v1 (front to front) its awesome.
Same with Jagdtiger.

And  KT is very slow (gun too) so the King Tiger can loose vs one T34/85.

But with support i prefer Elefant because its very powerful on long Range and on front battles.
I like the VET of the Elefant too.

Personally i think Soviets are a (little) bit smarter to play.
Maybe its why you have Cons (a little bit simmilar to Rifle; can throw Grenades, have AT and so on)
And i agree with 132 :
When Playing Soviets you know which Building includes what Unit (simmilar to US).

For Example the Ostheer T3 has Inf; Tanks AT and Support Weapon (HT) While the Soviets have a Tank Hall , one Infantry Tent and one support Weapon Tent (almost like US)

This will break up the use of Snipers.
Then i cannot use a Sniper anymore.

Countersniping is a highlvl skill in CoH.

Exactly. In most games each player has one or two Snipers and the reason why a Sniper is so damn good is because
you (and your opponent) needs a good micro.

I agree that the Soviets are easier to play (i mean not easier to win)

Its the same like vCoH, with the Soviets you have more Soldiers and you didnt have to watch out like the OH Player has to.

But a game like EF (and CoH) needs one "easy Faction" and one Faction which ismore difficult to play.

My experience:

Bombardiers and LeIG are not OP.
I dont like the word Over-Powered.
In 99% People just didnt know how to play or how to counter a unit.
(e.g. LeIG has long range BUT it is not firing automaticly-> you need more micro
Granatbüchse Squad is only good in cover (Soviet needs Sniper, Arty(Mortar) or Grenades)

But i can agree abaout the God of War. Its atm not very well but like it is written already, GoW will be changed.

Generally: Thanks for  your support and ty for the Replay.
But you played with high Ressources and without Popcap.
Imho in this game mode we cant balance stuff and its hard to assess the value of these Replays.

Maybe you should try a "normal" game (standard ress and popcap)
then you'll see most things are diffrent and then its more easy for us (me) to understand you arguments

Maybe we can create one single Doctrin with some Italian Vehicles.
For a complete new Factiondesign imho there are not enough italian units,.

I have EF and TGW and both works fine. Download the "normal" TGW (non-steam)
