I'll post the bugs that I have found in the newest patch, 2.200, right here.

At the moment I have only played one game with a Hard CPU. I was the Soviets and chose Propaganda Doctrine against the CPU's Ostheer Support Doctrine.

1)When I built the 76mm M1927 emplacement, only the emplacement showed up. There was no gun or crew and I'm pretty sure nothing was shot from it.

2)There were two different upgrades for the T-34/85 gun and SU-100 gun, but in the announcement, they said there would only be one upgrade. Plus it stated that you could change between the T-34/85 and SU-100, but I couldn't find a place where you could switch. So I was stuck with only being able to build the SU-100. Never mind not a bug  my bad ::)

3)When I built the SU-100, there was no change in the model from the SU-85. Perhaps this is because there is no model for the SU-100 at the moment and you guys said that in the announcement, but I may have skimmed over it.

4)The Penal Battalion upgrade says it requires Dig In! instead of Not One Step Back! I was still able to upgrade to Shtrafnyie Troops after I got Not One Step Back! so it's just a minor bug.

5)This one may not be a bug, but the Ostheer Hard CPU never built it's final tank hall building, so it just infantry spammed with a lot of Panzer 38ts, Sturmfusiliers, Panzerjagers, and Landsers. It was just one game and I can't really say its a bug unless I play some more.

Other than that great job! Had lots of fun playing.

I said we don't have the new model yet of the SU-85... so that means no proper SU-100 until the next big update ;).

I have a question in 2.2: I wonder if it is my own PC setting problem, as I see that I have a huge temporary lag for every few seconds in a game. I tried to restart the PC and then play again, the same issue happens, lag for every few seconds (temporary freeze).

I at the moment tried 2 times with the same map: Leningrad (6) with each faction have both SU, Brit, US, and PE, OH, Wehr.

I am using Win7 with i5, 2.4G and HD6730 with all settings to the medium.

for number 5

the ostheer AI is more likely to build the T4 building if they have enough fuel or decent fuel income, or if the game goes on long enough. When ive done play tests ive seen them build T4 plenty of times

I may have to take a look at the panzer38t if it is spamming those

It happens on both PvP and Skirmish. I tried skirmish 1v1 against US via OH, it also have the same issue, only it happens that the freezing is shorter compared to 3v3 map.

I see that even in the early game, like after 1 minute, the lagging/ freezing issue happens.

The Patch is amazing; the only bug is the red tide thing...you know.
And the hard CPU plays of cource with t4.

Yeah, a thing to add: Since 2.1 (I think), the 'swap start location' in fixed mode is not working. I think it is quite hard to explain, but for a map in 1v1 for example, Allies can never have the position of 2 (If 1 is Allies and 2 is Axis by default) even though the button is used.
I not sure if it is a bug though for this.

Thankfully though Relic has announced a patch for COH1 to fix all these issues brought along with the steam version, so hopefully this is fixed soon  :)

Hi everybody!

First, thank you again for your amazing work on this mod.

I spotted two bugs in the USSR faction: I had a problem with the anti-infantry artillery: my engineers build the fortified area, but the weapon itself is invisible. Then, I don't remember which unit it happened with, but when the weapon servant died, the picture of the unit (in the UI) was pink.

Then, since the last patch, I often encounter difficulties to create a game (skirmish mode), I have a message saying that it was impossible to create a game.
Maybe it is a problem with my computer?

The issue with the obr.1927 was already acknowledge :).

About your difficulties to create a skirmish game, that happens often when you come from a game to the main menu and instantly hit Skirmish(you click it too fast!). Wait until the "Player" text on the automatch button lights on and then hit skirmish.

Guys, Red  Tide is still bugged... Even worse this time as sometimes it even affects my own infantry(Playing all Axis factions). Sometimes it works normally and sometimes still renders the enemy units invincible.

Hi everybody!

I just had another bug a few days ago, but I'm not sure if it is a bug or related to the game physics. When a tank, especially the elephant, and the t-34 or panzer IV (I don't really remember) is hit by a rocket or there is an explosion nearby, it litterally jumps vertically, like in a "cartoon", I also had the same issue when driving above protection holes (for the ostheer).

Excuse my english I had a long day and I'm tired so I barely pay attention to my grammatical mistakes... Greets from France ^^

That is what I thought, It was really funny and weird x)

But I also established that when my tank elephant is at the edge of the screen, it suddenly becomes invisible for me, but the blue circle is always here when the unit is selected, I can give orders and ennemies still shoot him; And if I draw near him it becomes apparent again.
So just a little graphic bug I guess ^^

That's because you turned the model quality bar on a low value. Go to Options -> graphic settings. There's a "model detail" bar, just put it on the right maximum and you'll always see all units.

Hehe, I wanted to say first the new patch looks great  ;) (still trying it, tho)

Regarding the bug section, this time I tried with a friend something I missed to say and I'd liked to have checked it before, it regards mainly Famo and PE ally, I recovered a Cromwell with odd skin, when destroyed and recovered by a Bergetiger, it became neutral and with the working skin (something wrong with the owner colour skin maybe  ???), further recovers with either the Bergetiger or the Famo were resurrected as a neutral unit.

I wanted to check if that unit actually gived vet, but my partner didn't feel so inclined to keep the testing when we were finishing the game. The map where we played was Leningrad and against AI, so I forgot to save a replay.

PS: When I tried another play in Vire River, the recovered Cromwell skin was brownish instead of a black one. IIRC I was running the game on High settings on both plays.

Sorry, I forgot another bug in that play  ::), when the Bergetiger recovered a Kugelblitz it turned into a cube, didn't tried with any other Ostheer vehicle, the vehicle itself worked perfectly ingame, tho.

Found also a really minor "bug" with the Ostheer Sdkfz 251 and the text description in Spanish for the Mg34 upgrade, the upgrade says "Reforzar Landser" instead of something expected like "Bueno contra infantería"

Greetings,

While it was already posted on page 1 I would like to also state that I am experiencing the lag and add some detail. It started with this patch and is constant. My mouse clicks are being recorded late too, for example:

 Playing Lyons vs CPU in annihilate. I am PE with CPU ally fighting expert Sovs. I have a house as forward barracks with healing and I am fighting all around it, using it to keep my troops going against the Red Tide invicibility. The invicibles are taking my barracks so I highlight a squad and click on the house, mouse clearly changes to the box icon to show I am telling squad to go into barracks to prevent loss of it,  then move mouse to front yard to highlight an AT gun I had there. The result is that the squad ran into the front yard by the AT gun and stood there while the invincibles took the barracks. The mosue click wasnt recorded when I did it, but 2-3 seconds later when my pointer was on the AT gun. This is chronic and is making the game unplayable in real time, forcing frequent pausing to make sure my directions are being properly recieved by the troops.

My system is Win 7 x64, all SP and patches applied; 4GB DRAM; SSD HDD; 1GB vid card, quad-core CPU.

Thank's, I thought it would nice to do something unique for the Ostheer instead of just using the hedgehogs. It's actually a model from World Builder, which is why it looks slightly different to the Wehrmacht one.

These were some of the ideas I originally had for the Ostheer tank traps (They could all be made to build like proper tank traps too).

It did look pretty cool, but their is no proof they served on the Eastern Front (Though I am sure some probably did)...

Talking about the Ostheer Tank Traps, I can't build them unless I build them in friendly sectors, it's a feature or a bug?  ??? BTW, the new tank trap have BLANK name and description in the build table (in Spanish language)

Yeah! Would be pretty cool to see some nice tank trap and barbed wire variations. COH2 used them in the Campaign btw! Mostly in urban missions like Berlin. I can confirm ATL's comment aswell.

Also, When the LeFH is de-crewed the unit portrait becomes pink:

Seems the T-34 works fine, not sure about Sherman...
Elephant lock-down description is that of the Marder 3 and when he reaches ace vet with the acceleration vet the turret cripling shot gets replaced by the smoke pop. Is this intentional?

Great job with the new patch!

The KV-1 tooltip error still exists, as attached. I think everyone knows about the Soviet howitzer bug...other than that, no bugs spotted so far, but will continue looking out for them!

Here are some of the bugs/weird stuff that I've seen so far in Patch 2.2

1. Katyusha launchers sometimes (or I think most of the time) do not fire their rocket barrages.
2. Stuttering and occasional lag occur (probably every few seconds) during gameplay. (I don't know if this is related to the patch 2.2 or the COH new steam version 2.7, but these events really affected the gameplay). I tried restarting my PC, validating files thru steam, defragmenting my HDD, lowering my settings to medium, reinstalling both COH and the EF mod but same things happen again.
3. When choosing propaganda doctrine, the "not one step back" skill doesn't show even though it was researched already in the doctrine tree.
4. Strelky's The Red Flag ability does not show up even though the required research for it was already obtained.

Other than these things, EF 2.2 was truly an awesome mod.
Thanks for updating and I hope these things will be fixed in the upcoming patch

You are mistaken for 4th - the nade is doctrinal. You need an ability from urban doc to be unlocked and then you get the flame nades.

About 2. Is it when you play vs AI ? If so next patch will fix that.

About 3. Are you shure ? For me its working. When you unlock it you receive  2 abilities - call in commissar and the actual NOSB muni cost ability.

For 1 cant comment now, maybe later tonight after some tests.

For no.1, I see that Katyusha is similar to Panzerwerfer where their roeckets can be easily blocked by any terrains/ buildings as they have pretty low angle of fire.
I too facing this issue in no.2 but I think it should be AI issue, so I have reverted back to 2.1.0.3.
For 4, if I am correct. if you take 2 PTRS instead of DP or PPPSH, the red flag ability will not show though.

Regarding some descriptions, I've found that the Panzernest uses the Wehr bunker description, and the Gaz 43 Maxim upgrade uses the G43 supressive volley text.

After some compstomping, I saw that the Cromwell beutepanzer skin bug persists (green skin in Vire River instead of a brown one), also the Ostheer tank trap uses a metallic hit instead of the stone one expected, inherited from the old tank trap, I guess.

Some more weird stuff had happened to me, I couldn't target heal my Marksman with Landser vet 1 medic (I was Fortress and both sitting on friendly "green" sector). Also I tried to build a LeFH 105mm, then canceled, after that, the manpower income got overall reduced by 4, I did it several times to confirm it, reducing by 18, when canceled just returned +14  :o (I've never done this before, so maybe it's a bug from the game). To end these bunch of weird stuff I've observed that the Soviet Spotter team liked to abandon cover even if they're ordered to hold fire (both members hidden), need to check that...

That's the usual behavior :P... nothing we can fix AFAIK.

That's the usual behavior :P... nothing we can fix AFAIK.

Well the abandoning cover thing I think i have a fix for, the spotter team shouldnt be trying to dodge things like other soldiers anyways

So the American 105 mm howitzer also have the same problem with the decreasing manpower? I've never tried, that's why I asked  :P

In order to not to open a new thread, I'll ask here: is there a way to make the American and Ostheer artillery show in the minimap their firing range before building them in the same way as the 25 pounder and the Soviet Firebase?

The lefh18 was made using the US 105 howitzer as base, so it has the same things minus HP, crew, fuel cost, recrew files and weapon model. Nothing else that might rob you +4 MP rate.

got crashed 3 times in a row today (that normal, usually after 30 minutes of any game vs AI), when i read through the warning log, i found this:

What's it? what does it mean?
Btw, can you guys check the british bofor cannon? all went pink on the ground when building that unit.
Also, how come now the m1937 or somekind of anti infantry cannon of soviet sound completely like their howitzer?

It sounds like you have issues with your graphic card because we haven't done anything with the bofors. Could you upload the whole log?

Also, the obr.1927 is basically a howitzer, so there is no issues with that. Yet the firebase is stronger because it has higher caliber shells.

Well, the OBR does 'sound' like a howitzer, if thats what he was taking about. We should probably change it, since people could mistake it for a full blown howitzer firing a barrage by the sound

in local ini file , on screendevice line, i changed from dx9 to dx10, just wanted to test if that going to make any different to my game since it's always crash after 20 - 30 minutes of playing vs AI, i guess this time it's caused by my own fault. Anyways, here is the log, maybe you can found other things.
