Title: Stalin's Sledgehammer can replace the Katyusha as a reward unit
Post by: polo101e on October 13, 2013, 07:36:37 PM: I think it would be great if this can happen, as Katyusha and 203 mm howitzer M1931 (B-4) are different in nature and offers the player choices in use.

Well why should somebody change a mobile 300mm Rocket Artillery that he can deploy and pound areas all over the map. With a fixed range 203mm Artillery Emplacement (Yes, it is mounted on tracks and no it does not have it's own engine! Do not believe the MoW developers on that).

We do not use this one nor intend to do :).

About the suggestion, I'm not sure the "sledgehammer" fits CoH or Soviets at all, let alone we already have a couple of artillery emplacements in that tree. It seems to be a huge weapon, and once we add it everyone and their dog will complain about why we are not adding the Karl-Gerät for Germans or any other heavy artillery unit. This unit seems suitable for campaign but not to multiplayer.
