Hello,
first off i played your mod back in the day when it first came out, brought life to my otherwise outplayed CoH, good work.
This time around i'm having problems gettin it to run, i tried to check for the issue on the forums and google in general but no luck. My problems occur during the attempt to launch the mod for the first time.
I will say i have followed your instructions, clean install, up to date coh(steam ver) 2.700.2.22 i believe is newest ver. I then install the EU mod, patch and update... and upon attempting to launch via, launcher "play" button the game just crashes right away and i get a relic error report window.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice now, still the same error.
pls help, ty

Could you upload the log files saved in the CoH folder in SteamApps that belong to the launcher?
Are you running the launcher with admin rights?
-
yeah np, which files thou, im in the CoH folder inside steamapps\common\
steamapps\common\coh\ef_launcher_log.txt?
-
That one would be the right one.

ok, here goes

Just about every mod isn't compatible with the new patch. So no luck there - hopefully it'll get hotfixed in a day or so.
-
so uhh, a patch from sega/relic or you guys?
still not really sure what the problem is, don't mean to offend.
-
Yes, a new patch for CoH (from the CoH beta testing) went out yesterday.
None taken. :)

ahh ok, so you guys will release some sort of update in the future. I'll just watch your modb page for update then
thanks for the response,
keep up the good work

i think you understood wrong, it wasn't the EF team's fault that the game isn't running right, it's the company of heroes game's team fault for their failed update.

Hardly a failed update, updates on all games naturally break mods because things are changed around.

@Minhvn
no no i got it ; p
the fix will have to come from the mod creator, i have other mods in other games ; p
and game updates do break big mods a lot more than small ones
my confusion arises from some of the language being used that's all...
its all clear now ; p

from what i read on steam forum, this kind of bug wasn't just happen with people playing with mod on their game, everything like automatch; skirmish;...( multiplayer stuffs and AI stuffs) are broken, people cannot connect and play with other people.
