It's been a while since my time I posted something on the forum or played CoH :P. Now I'm back. After trying out the new version of the game, I have a sudden interest for the Soviet doctrine of Propaganda War because I very fond of playing with the conscripts :D, they have so many shiny new tools for their job, especially the SMGs, AT 'nade and those exceed their role of 'cannon fodder'. Couple with naval infantries, arties,...the Soviet can really pack-a-punch :))) But to my surprise, when I reached the Kat on the LHS of the tree, I couldnt utilise them effectively, the rockets were just flying inaccurately and dealing little damage on the infantries and the infantries were just stunned for a while. It seemed that the salvo was a waste.
Beside that tiny opinion, the mod really gives me a good time for giving me a little insight into the WW2 on the Eastern front.
P/S: Your mod is still my most favorite mod of my most favorite game ;) Thanks you guys a lot for what you've done. Peace

Use 2 or more Katjushas for a bombardment.
The effect is devastating against enemy's infantry.

In the current release version Katyushas are pretty inaccurate, toned down versions of the US Sherman Calliope. We've been reworking the Katyusha for the next release, and it'll perfrom more well rounded compared to now.
As for the current version: just get 3 of them and use them from distance, if possible without fog of war. They'll be more efficient that way.

But what are Katyushas supposed to do in the game ? Doing extensive damage to the opposing armies or just firing candles to, hopefully, pin the infantries down ? :))

It's one of the only longrange mobile artillery pieces that the Soviets have? The spread of the rockets also makes it really unpredictable which usually leads to the enemy retreating blobs.
