if mounting Dshk MG in a trolley is very hard to animate.. how about turning it into an upgrade for the Ford GPA when the player chose the propaganda doctrine.. unlocks the Dshk Heavy machine gun for the Ford GPA which upgunned the obsolete "Maxim machine gun (proposed Armory Upgrade)" affects newly deployed vehicles.
and also adding a non-doctrinal upgrade purchase in the armory: Maxim MG upgrade to upgunned DP-28s for the Ford GPA.
i apologize for speaking my mind...

We have already been there. The Ford GPA has the maxim MG as optional gun and used to be available ingame some time ago, but it isn't as useful as it seems in such weak vehicle.

oh..it is surely weak when it fights on its own.. but it is suitable for a fire supporting roles or infantry supporting roles..
i think it's great for the ford gpa to acquire dshks mg when prop doc is chosen. just like the jeep w/ 50 cal in bk.
will lose it's wide eyesight when upgraded with dshks.. same with the maxim mg global armory upgrade..
can upgrade to lay mines when urb doc is chosen and can camo in good cover, large eyesight attained, but unarmed.
please?? sir :( it's sad if the dshk trolley that you promised a long time ago will not appear

here is my proposal:
[Dshk HMG upgrade for the Ford GPA] .... These upgrade will unlock once the player has chosen the propaganda doctrine..
these upgrade is not global, it's optional for each Ford GPAs..
---Appearance= just like these pictures here.. maybe the dhsk trolley models that you already have can be mounted on Ford GPA models in the same fashion as these picture here... you've said before that your dhsk trolleys are very hard to animate.. and so maybe it can instead be mounted in these vehicles...
---note= once upgraded w/ dhsks. the ford loses it's large eyesight..
knowing that these vehicle is weak like the american jeep.. it is suitable for supporting attacking infantries or armored formations..
---and also bringing back the Maxim machine gun for it too..BUT it is now a GLOBAL UPGRADE for the Ford GPA purchased from the armory (affects newly deployed vehicles) notes= it must shoots like the maxim gun of the mg dugout.. unlike the mg dugout the maxim ford can't surpress enemy infantry
---and SG-43 MG mount upgrade when player chooses the BREAKTHROUGH DOCTRINE.. same as the dhsks it is individual upgrades.. notes=unlike the sg43 mg team.. the sg43 ford gpa can't surpress enemy infantry.
---and ford GPAs can now camouflaged when in good cover and has a large recon sight.. individual upgrades when player choses urban combat doctrine..

The Ford GPA is a jeep type unit. Jeep type units in CoH are meant to scout and hunt down snipers/provide stealth detection. They're weak against small arms and are 1-hit by AT guns.
Giving the GPA heavy weapon upgrades contradicts with the prupose they are intended to serve. We tried using the GPA as a vehicle based HMG and it didn't work well. That's why the weapon state upgrades are disabled.
I also don't see the point to have a weapon upgrade in the armoury for a jeep to be honest. Afterall, jeeps are rarely built after the earlygame, and even then only to counter snipers.
If we ever decide to modify jeep units to have more combat value (more damage for example) the upgrades to DshK and Maxim would make sense, but until then there isn't much point in doing that.

also remember, even if a unit doesn't show up in multiplayer, it can still make an appearance in the campaign or single player mission maps
