When I click Check For Updates I get the error message:
A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection fialed because connected host has failed to respond.
My internet is working fine in all other capacities so I'm fairly sure the problem doesn't have anything to do with that.

Have you applied the new update for your Eastern Front Launcher?

Hmm, mines also now saying this, and its been working fine over the last day, even after installing the update.
Maybe they're uploading the patch at the moment so the connection has been disabled for a while...or something :-\

I'm currently performing maintenance on the update server.
Your launcher should work fine as soon as I am done ;)

hey its the 24th and im still getting these messages
also when i updated to the new updater it said this
"error opening file for writing
C:\Program files\THQ\Company of Heroes\EF_Launcher.exe"
wot do i do :(

You already running the launcher, you must shut it off before applying the update.
