Hi!
Last game; there was a sniper spying on me, the flak ennemi killed my katiouchas and tanks?
I discovered him by walking all around but another came again....
So how can I find snipers as soviets, ami has jeeps but brits has nothing. Does soviet have something?

HOW can you have trouble with snipers when playing a faction that relies on INFANTRY SPAM?
It defies the mind.

as they lack retreat however snipers can be pretty effective ;D

Band of 3-4 snipers fears nothing in fight vs early infantry. EVEN if my brave soldiers ( LOL) could get closer - flame engineers burn them very quick.

Not every unit needs to have an easy counter. Sniper is useless anyway against the big size squads. You can just run 2 squads to the sniper location and he'll retreat or die. If you are really desprate you have a free arty to call on him. A sharpshooter can kill it too if he's detected or retreats.
I also saw that a rus squad near an outpost can survive 2 sinpers who constantly shooting at them, due to the fast reinforce speed.

You have EIGHT MEN SQUADS. And you can send in THREE AT THE SAME TIME EASILY. WITH SUPPORT.

note that the wehr snipers at vet3 got 50% lower cooldown so they shoot twice as fast, if they manage to build 6-8 of them soviets squads will dissapear in seconds (I've tested in on allies and it works miracles but they have some hard counters to snipers like reacon/countersnipe).

Or a group of T90s (another hard counter).

I've checked it out and there is no way that the russian snipe team can took out a wehr vet3 sniper (10 out of 10 times they didn't) have you note how the snipers tend to behave? Like running to cover instead of shooting? Well the soviets snipers used to do the same stupid thing so there is a strong possibility that they're not going to countersnipe in time not to mention that they're visible while they're out of range, in another test one wehr sniper vet3 stationery in cover so he don't have to do the sniper dance took out 3 sharpshooters team without being coutnersniped. While in 1v1 sniper spam is not the best idea in 2v2 it works preety well although the russians got a hard counter lol but it's the fucking 1sec lt arty which IMO should be fixed somehow.

4 snipers and two Pio squads with flamers is 1600 manpower and 100 munitions.
Just for the manpower that is 8 squads of conscripts or 64 men! each of the snipers will only be able to get off one shot at long range before the conscripts will be on them. So the wehr player will be forced to retreat, or lose everything within seconds. Which means the Russian player sends the half damaged squad to back cap and/or then cheaply reinforce, and leaves the other 7 squads to run forward and cap everything, denying the wher player any resources for abilities or to tech up.
At the same time though, I do think the Russians need a unit that can detect snipers more easily at a short range

If they are vet three its 80 fuel, almost enough for tanks. Plus the 100 muni is halfway to red banner/sturmovie and already enough for arty strikes which would force a costly retreat of an entire group like that.

And all the fuel will be spent to get there. Wehr players have other things they have to use it on.... like say moving up tiers?

If your having trouble with snipers as soviets than I don't know what to tell you ;D Go play some American I guess and learn how to flank. But with 8 men and a low reinforce cost for your infantry, it shouldn't be a problem, as he isn't draining enough manpower for what he paid for his sniper, and you have enough guys to chase him around even after hes taken 3-4 shots at you.

What? There`s no need to make ANY thing, conscripts are there to distract the Snips, if you add some petty recon vehicle to the CCCP you`ll just make them like other factions, and that`s not gonna end good.
