I want for ostheer some unique veterancy system ;) and for me there are two paths right now
First one is shamelessly copied from lord rommel
there are different paths where infantry buildtime is decided which veterancy level they have.
I.E
level 1 low build time but no vet
and so forth
Second path shamelessly stolen from someone
They get stuff and abilities as they get vet
example
vet 1 grenade/sprint
vet 2 shrek/lmg
vet 3 Camo/unsuppressable
And so forth.

One idea that interested me was the "Pick the upgrade per vet level idea". Similar to how the "Assault" operations gametype work combined with the individuality of the PE vet system
Ex. Grenadiers:
Vet 1 - Sprint
Vet 2 - Increase total health or health regeneration
Vet 3 - Feldwebel (officer in the squad to increase fighting ability) or Grenade Assault
Something like this would have you making tactical decisions as to what you want in your squad

I love this idea! Although I hope they would have a way to access other infantry based AT aside from having to earn the penzerschreck at vet 2.

i like Rommel's idea it like some kind of special education of elite units.
