Title: Best Way to Use Tank Guards?
Post by: HyperSniper999 on January 29, 2010, 11:20:58 PM
Hi there, I was wondering, what is the best way to use tank guards to their fullest? If I even try dismounting, I lose them or the tank soon after.

I do love the Tank Rider.. But.. Alas my favourite Unit is Sniper Ace so I've only used them once..

When I did play with them, I found then were great support for IS-2's, and they are effective by themselves (Tank Guards and T-34 both) but together is where they're strength lies, use Anti-Tank INFANTARY along with the Tank Riders.. Also sharpshooters and some 120mm Mortars..

That's if your an all Russian team which I usually am with my friends..

Tank guards, like regular guards, are great at taking out AT-guns and infantry with their grenade ability.

Yea, they're quasi regular guards. Great at killing infantry/AT guns. Xcept they can travel (FAST) atop the tank. When they're
ON the tank, the *TANK* can CAPTURE flags!!! :)

They can join, separate, as needed. Excellent for rushing
the base's bunkers, and then splitting to cause mayhem.
 hence the name : Breakthrough.

I kindof like thier smoke grenades.  Hop off and pop one on the t34 and it can really cause some pain.  works best with 2 t34 so one can sit in the smoke and the other can flank.
