Isn't it a given that we want new doctrines? And them speaking German and winter outfits would be cool details, but not really the most important characteristic when it comes to game play.

I said super heavy tanks, but would like to clarify that decision.
I want heavy (and light) tanks that we have not seen, not the landcruiser or what ever the 150/1500 ton behemoth was

New dectrines are (and units) most important. Not just heavy tanks. Buildable Tiger I and Brumbar, Elephant, Tiger Ace call-ins is all (maybe even too much) the germans need.
Germans will probalby speek german, like russians speak russian (but a panzer IV will be a panzer IV and not a sherman).

New option: Early-game advantages. (Like early Pz3 and strong infantry, but little chance to win a in late-game.)

A proper defensive/stranglehold doctrine that can allow the ostheer to survive an early soviet spam rush,(and also reflects well on the fuhrers 'no retreat-hold at all costs order, just like stalins no retreat) and most importantly, the ability for the ostheer to be able to build trenches! 1 out of 3 axis isnt bad for balancing, brits and soviets can, so why cant ostheer at least?

New doctrines are one of the most important things for the Ostheer, but new units and a unique gameplay are also needed. And the Ostheer should be a force not limited to 'build up defenses, and wait for your super units'.
