Title: Slightly Different Soviet Unit responses.
Post by: Akalonor on February 21, 2010, 03:40:12 AM
I've noticed that several Russian Tank crews seem to like US vehicles very much:
ISU = "Sherman firefly"
T-70/90 = M8 "Greyhound"
T-34 = M4 "Sherman"
IS 2 =(I'm pretty sure, it sounded accented) "Pershing"

"" representing what word was in English

It's a marvelous mod but I just have to put this out there, it drives me crazy.

Instead of undertaking the herculean task of creating their own voice files, the modders used those of the American and British factions from the Russian version.

Think we have found a way to get rid of the unit-specific voices, so they will be more generic, but it is hardly a priority right now.

Yeah but It drove me crazy hearing a T 34 call itself a sherman and a T 70 saying "Greyhount jejer" Im not sure how the second part is but Greyhount was very distinct.
