Title: Build Order for Red army
Post by: irik on February 26, 2010, 11:20:52 PM
There are some things you must know when answering:
I Play Annihilation,
Play 1 v 1 in a non 1 v 1 map like Sevastapol or Kiev
Pick Propaganda War Strategy,
Play on Standard Resources,
and the CPU always tries to get all the points,
I play against Easy or Normal CPU.
If there is another topic on this, let me know.

what i mean by the cpu tries to get all the points, is on my Eastern Front, no matter what difficulty, they always try to capture all the points, EVEN the ones closest to my base.

of course CPU tries to take all the points.
It is the new agressive AI.
You shouldnt play annilation, you dont learn anything about real COH in annilation.
Counter the agressive AI by playing equally agressive, Use Volks and Mgs, get a medic Bunker.
What I mean is, push them back, dont allow them to freeroam with single squads of conscripts. :)

The soviet army was made to be aggresive. No non doctrinal MGs, early T-34, spamming...

Annilation games are good when you want to learn the basics (micro, counters). VP games are more difficult. If you have problems with domination on the battlefield than you should play annilation. Whats the point of plaing VP games if youll lose every game.
