Title: Could not verify media.

I recently installed the eastern front mod and whenever I try to start the game, an error message pops up saying 'Could not verify media'.

I have no clue to why this is happening so i'll just lay out the details for you.

1. I am using steam version
2. I have the latest version of EF as far as I know.
3. My COH works fine without EF.

Strangely I get this too...and mine's not the steam version, though I did get the ToV expansion through Steam and (it could be a coincidence, but) this error has only shown up since the ToV expansion was installed via steam.

I find if I exit to windows and retry, it typically logs on as usual. Sometimes I have to try a couple of times.

I have no idea why the steam version should be looking for the DVD in your case...but now I've read your post I'm wondering if the issues are related.

I also use ToV, maybe it's an issue related to the expansion.

If you have any joy with Relic's support let me know.  I have another issue where installing ToV off steam has locked out the missions associated with Opposing Fronts.  It's not a huge issue, but I never received a response from their support.  If you get any guidance on this one will be keen to know !
