On the stats page for each player, whats constitutes a basic match as opposed to a 1v1, 2v2, 2v2AT? Is a basic match, one where a team used AI as teamate against humans? Is there any info from the CoH guys defining critiria for deciding which catagory it belongs in?
Basic match gives no rank in the stats page, why?. Same as skirmish, ranks show up only when starting a game.
And what does the AT stand for? Team game?
Seems like a dumb question, just wondering.

Basic match refers to a custom game where at least 1 human fights against at least 1 human. 1v1, 2v2 etc refers to the respective gamemodes of automatch and are recorded separately from basic matches because they are actual indications of skill. The AT in 2v2 AT refers to arranged team, which is another branch of automatch and your scores are displayed on the team stats page of your stats. A skirmish refers to a game in which 1 or more humans fights against a team exclusively made up of computer players. The ToV gamemodes should be fairly obvious.
The reason the basic match and skirmish rank does not appear on the stats page is because, frankly, they mean jack shit. The automatch scores are a truer indicator of skill whereas the basic/skirmish rank comes only from whoring games and is also much quicker to obtain.

The guy above is correct, and AT stands for Arranged Teams.
