Match arbitration.
I've just got off an automatch game which shut down and was arbitrated, I was winning in avery conceivable way. Held most of the map, highest kills, highest remaining points counter.
And yet the game was recorded as a loss.
Does anyone know how the arbitration system works? My connection I will be the first to admit does drop in and out sometimes, but its performance is pretty good.
This has happened several times and is really starting to make me avoid the multiplayer lobby.

that's why I don't care for my stats

There are no "High score s" in Eastern Front.
"the game was recorded as a loss" dosnt mean anything.
Its just a thing that dosnt work becouse Relic didnt cooperate.
Have fun palying MP games and dont worry about youre win/loss stats. They wont change.

This was in TOV not EF. I know about the lack of ranking in EF.
I put this in the off topic section because it was not EF related.
For the record I was playing as PE against US.
Was all going so well too......

I know what you mean, thats happened to me before too. I recently created a new account for the purpose of not caring what my stats are on it.
-
Really? I don't need stats to tell me how I play. I don't bother with stats at all. ;)
-
Well I like the stats and all, but what most ticks me off is being told I've lost a match when I was plainly winning it!
And presumably the other bloke was told he won!

There was some article I read before on relic forums exactly about arbitration:
http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=210436 (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=210436)
See part Arbitration - Dropouts and disputes:
Arbitration works by using a 'trust rating' system. Trust ratings, just like automatch points, cannot be viewed in any way. Although nearly nothing is known about it, what is known is that trust ratings increase when a player is involved in less disputes, and decrease when a player is involved in more disputes.
In the event of arbitration, a dispute is added to the statistics of the players of the game. A win will also be added to the player(s) that have the highest trust rating, and a loss to the other player(s). In a sense, arbitration awards legitimate players who have played a lot of games but do not get into many disputes. Players who purposely 'drophack' or disconnect on purpose frequently, will decrease their trust rating, eventually causing losses in the majority of disputes.

Ah that might explain it.
I had a fairly dodgy connection at uni for a while. Alot of games dropped out.
probably hit my "trust" rating pretty hard.
Thanks

I dont care about stats. One time, this 100- 50 something guy ketp calling me a noob in 1v1 when my stats were 90-200. When I was about to let my final ranger attack on his base , I said
"While you see good players by stats, I see them by skill."
He then said
"**** u! Your a **** noob! You **** cheated!!!!!!"
I got him good :)
And no I didnt cheat ;)

Ha! Thats right! Stick it to em.
I get that sometimes too, because of my bad connection I guess many of the games listed as losses I was actually going to win due to arbitration.
So I'm better than my stats show, has wrongfooted a few people. One game on Red ball express, both my team mates dropped as we only had 1/3 of the map.
But with carefull bunker placement and probing armour attacks I eventually prevailed! They could not beleive it!
-
thats awsome!!!

Why do people have to be like that, they gloat, they insult, then they whine like spoiled babies(cuss everything out for losing) ?
Its actually funny to watch and hear about it .
"Arrogance is the poison that turns the world raw." is what my Uncle used to say :)
-
if you cant say anything nice, dont say anything at all. ;D
-
My stats are 1:2 based on the fact that I often run out of time and have to exit so its counted as a loss.
-
as stated before dropping is the worst thing you can do...
me and my mates have turned games around against all odds...
i have an amazing replay where (on redball) one brit (our enemy) and two comps(his teammates dropped) held out for like an hour...he was real good
but in the end i hammerde him with stukas on foot >:(
-
stukas definately are a gamechanger. the brits arent as good as they are cracked up to be.
