Ok, 1st of all hi i am new here, And i have look in this forum for this topic but internet freaking slow so hate to kind of insufficent time to find it
Now when i 1st bought Company of Heroes i bought the Gold Edition. I installed the opposing fronts from the Gold Edition and then i installed the normal version because i want to play the 1st version campaign. When tales of Valor came out i overwrite it. Then not long i heard of this amazing mod about Soviet Army. So i downloaded it, And when i heard it needs the version 2.601 to play i try update the version by patching it. 1st my current Version is 2.500v. . When i updated it from this website that i downloaded it http://cohpatch.relic.com/ (http://cohpatch.relic.com/) .
It said error could not update to 2.501v. Please reinstall company of heroes. But the funny part is when i play tales of Valor it need Gold Edition Opposing fronts to play. Weird isn't it? Well i don't play by using internet only LAN. LAN ONLY. I never got a Relic Account coz home to internet. :(
Problem.
Can't patch to 2.500v - 2.501v
-Company of heroes that version is Tales of Valor (2.500v).
-Older version that Tales of Valor overwrite it is Company of Heroes Opposing Fronts ( Company of Heroes Gold edition )
-Americans cant build stuff second time like after build barrack n supply depot cant build motor pool or tank depot.
-Stuff working with mods is that i can Play LAN without soviets army also-

I guess it was you that were Email me, Gonna give you the same answer. Uninstall CoH, delete the Program Files folder (after).
Then install ToV from the ToV DVD. Now you should be able to patch.
