Says this everytime I hit play. I installed it to the Steam version, and I was able to play the previous release so trust me I installed it correctly. (not to mention I've reinstalled it 3 times)

I've done that, I've triple checked the filepath, and I've uninstalled, I did check your thread there; it ain't no fix.

Are you sure you checked the correct fix??
"Unable to find Company of Heroes directory"
Open a regedit instance(windows key + R or start menu->run and type regedit then execute) and look for "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Company of Heroes" key's String value, "InstallLocation", and should have your current CoH directory.
If not, change it to the correct value; if not exists, create "Company of Heroes" key then create a String value "InstallLocation" and fill it with the correct path. If you are using x64 OS, try checking on "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node".
Alternatively, you can reinstall Company of Heroes if you don't like to do all the steps above.

Same Problem for me. I uninstalled/installed several times. I checked the registry, and the correct steam install path is chosen at the install.
However, I still get this error.
-
If you checked the regedit path, you confirmed InstallLocation's value??

Yes, I did, but it is called "InstallDir" instead of InstallLocation (Win7). May this be the problem?

Looks like that's the problem. You should create a new String value and call it InstallLocation, then you need to give it your Company of Heroes directory as value.
Or if you like i can make a registry key for you, just give your CoH directory and if you use a 32 or 64 bits OS.
