Please keep to a friendly disscussion/debate. Thanks, just wondering what Tank Destroyer we'd most like to see!
-
I think we should get a Sturer Emil cause it was truly a beautiful piece of machinery that deserved a much better fate then just being prototyped and being sent to Stalingrad. We must pay homage to it, i think that it should appear in a campaign level (perhaps one based around Stalingrad) and a reward unit to the Nashorn or Elephant (which ever our ingenious devs decide to implement.)

I couldn't agree more, the SE was a genuine machine. It should COMPLETLY be as a reward unit.
( sorry about the typos, my english isn't 100%)

I'd love to see the Jagdpanzer IV simply because it is a highly effective tank destroyer that can be produced in good numbers too.
-
Jagpanzer 4 too. :) Second can be Elephant like doctrine unit.
-
I'm sure the devs are going to put the Elefant so I'm voting for the Sturer Emil.
-
Sturer Emil aka JAGTIGER, Ratte and Monster= No Infinite
:)
-
I want to see the Hetzer in game, it is only used by one faction's doctrine and isn't really used much at all.But it actually is a good Tank destroyer
-
Elefant as a doctrine unit please!

:)
I think we've got something a bit wrong here

Sturer Emil., 2 built, both used at Stalingrad.
Jagdtiger, alot more built than the Sturer, most used in the Western Front, ones in the East Served mainly at Seelow, tearing up Soviet Tanks.

Jagdpanzer IV/70 "guderianende"
-
Three notes ( but there are just cosmetic notes ):
Jagdtiger - not Jagtiger oder JaGdTiger or JagdTiger.
When u arent sure u can write tank hunter 12,8cm tiger II xD
But about the Jagdtiger; remember that just 3 Jagdtiger perhaps had fought during the battle of Wien and perhaps at Berlin too. This isnt a real representing tank for an Ostheer. And one thing more; when u write about the Jagdtiger, tell us which version u mean because there are some heavy differens between the Porsche und the Henschel-version ;)
The Jagdpanzer IV is called "Guderian ( Father of the german panzers ) Ente ( dug )". But i think anyone will find this tank via google when u write Jagdpanzer IV.
Last is about the "Hetzer":
well. The tank u call "Hetzer" wasnt called "Hetzer" during the war. The name was "Jagdpanzer 38 t". The E-10 tank hunter should be named "Hetzer".
So when u arent sure about the denotation of your vehicle use google and co to find the correct version.
I just want to tell this because in the past i was sometimes often confused when user wrote things e.g. like "Jagdtiger Elefant" or "Jagdpanzer V Ferdinandt" ;)
So. Enought cosmetic notes ;D
Sry for this guys.

i think the elefant is the perfect tank for the ostheer but only via doctrin. but i also think that the jagdtiger should be an reward unit for the ostheer which replace the elefant when you finished the ostheer campaign.
-
Elefant/Ferdinand.
I still don't get why some people want this mysterious Jagdtiger. Like Lord Rommel said, it was not a unit which was common on the Ostfront nore does it represent that battlefield.
-
thats right
thats the reason that i want the jagdtiger as a reward unit so you have fist play the campain to unlock it
-
Elephant as a doctrinal Big Boy.
Buildable Tiger I (1 on the field limit) and JagdpanzerIV mix instead of Panthers.
StugIIIe with long gun upgrade instead of StugIV and PE PzIV.
PzIII - a baby of upgunned Hothkiss and Wehrmacht PzIV.
