Currently I'm working hardly to finish Sea of Ruins- Festung Breslau.
Some history - In 1944 Breslau ( Wrocław today) was ordered to prepare for soviet attack. Hitler ordered to make Festung - Stronghold. Soviets were sure that taking Breslau will take days. Suprisingly, city hold near 4 months - from 13th Febuary to 6th of May.

Ok, it occured that map is big enough to put two players more :D what means that map will apperar in two versions - for 3vs3 and 4vs4.

Some of you will surely notice that streets are empty. Well, yes, I'll fill them with rubble and wrecks later, when map will be finished, and only cosmetic changes will be needed.

as you can see nearly half is ready. It's really pain in *** when I have to edit every building and set damage.... Nevertheless I think it'll be ready in 4-5 days time.

It would be great to finally have a good 4v4 urban map, looks exciting.

Remember that I'm making 3vs3 now, but when it'll be finished and tested, I'll delete one of sectors and put 4th HQ.

;D Well, saying frankly, I've already won two games against AI on this map ;D but it's still looking and fixing mistakes.
I decided that battle will look great during night, and so it is. As far it's only 3vs3 made, only when all problem will be solved I'll begin 4vs4 version.

Thanks you for this map ! I like the fact that the camps are spread over the map and the fact that this is a new town map.
However, and i know this won't help you too much, i never managed to finish a game on this map because the game crashed everytime at random times, saying that i don't have enough TEMP space.
My game is usually stable and i have more than 50gb free, so i guess the map is the reason.
If you can drive me to some useful information for you, i'd be glad to help !

Anybody else has the same problem? 'Cause I really don't feel like playing another "Zhytomir" map.

map crashes you say.... hmmm.... I'll check it....
or ask some mappers what they do in such situation.
Strange is the fact that on mine PC maps is fully playable and have never crashed.

I'll give it a shot too at some point. It might just be a case of lowering your graphics settings. Yes, Zhytomyr is terrible... I over did it a little with the splats ;D

At night the flicker from all those fires is visually very distracting - a more dusk, early evening time might work better.
Very interesting looking, but I honestly could not play past a minute or two due tot he constant flicker, everywhere. :/

city at war? nevermind, I might remove some of the fires burning around...
changing the time of day sounds good idea. I'll try some changes and then publish them.

ok, I've changed the day time to dusk. everything is in sunlight now. But I really liked this night.... maybe someday I'll discover how to make switchable weather.... eh...

Looks nice so far... Make sure to place these nice looking models too. Just a small tip:
ebps/enviroment/art_ambient/objects/rubble_debris/rubble_barricade
Make sure that the layout is like this:

So that you need to attack with a close range unit and backup them with a long range unit that is in heavy cover.

Just place a tram. Select it>Edit states>Add>SetHealth>0.2500 or 0.1000 > done.
