I came along this Nazi ww2 patch and I couldnt find out what it was. I thought you guys might help me find out it.
If you can find the price, that would help too ;)

Seeme, it's a breast/cap eagle (Hoheitabzeichen) in the style usually worn by Wehrmacht General Staff officers and Kriegsmarine officers. Mid- to late- war pattern IMO.

So its the common one they mostly wear?
-
...More or less. But it's definitely officer-grade, which counts for a lot since procuring one from Reich suppliers used to cost a lot more RM (Reichsmarks) than the enlisted versions. The experts also have ways of identifying individual Hoheitabzeichen, such as probe marks.
You can try asking these guys...They sure know their stuff.

No prob, Kamerad Seeme. Glad to help. ;D
And as to werewolf i read abt his post on the German army patches, no one knows abt the ranks and patches so much unless he has seen it with his eyes
Cheers!!
I have. I also own a reproduction Wehrmacht Heer general's uniform complete with insignia and ribbon bars (I collect a lot of vintage and reproduction militaria), the Hoheitabzeichen is pretty much identical to Seeme's...so I guess his grandfather got pretty lucky. ;) However, as to its authenticity and approximate date of manufacture, that I don't know...and as such we should therefore defer to the experts. :)
Here's another example of a similar WH general staff uniform. Note the gold trim (buttons, Hoheitabzeichen, Waffenfarbe, cap braid, collar tabs, etc.) and general staff stripes on the trousers. ;)

Here's a Kriegsmarine officer's cap, which is a replica of the one worn by Reichspräsident und Großadmiral Karl Dönitz.

Interesting, mabey I wont sell it :)
-
I wouldnt , what you have could be very rare , its price will likely increase as time goes by, so I vote keep it in the family\sell it in a few years.

Yeah, if the world isn't destroyed on 2012(jk) you can keep it for your family ;). As Akalonor said it could increase more it's value :D.

Alright, thanks :)
