Title: errors out. need help

alright.
so i installed it to the correct file with steam C:\programfiles blah blah blah.
and no i dont have programfiles 86

the problem i am getting is it is saying unable to locate company of heroes directory.

i have tried everything and i am reinstalling it on steam.

if ANYBODY KNOWS ANYTHING LET ME KNOW!

I got that error when I tried to run EF on a corrupted install. I uninstalled(deleting all the EF directories left too) and reinstalled steam version, and later EF.

ok its still a no go on this damn mod. does anybody have any suggestions?

i re downloaded it. i tried everything in humanly possible from destroying this computer.

hey..1st post on my acc..anyway i got this error too, but after a little random clicking i found the problem.

on the launcher at the top you will see a tab saying "Settings". Click it.

At the bottom right it will say "CoH directory" put C:\program files\steam\steamapps\common\companyofheroes

hope this helps  ;D

i found it blank but now it plays..now i just need to figure out how to fix my crash..the game just crashes on loading screen 1st time loading up a map, and the second time it crashes ingame...  >:(
