I would have to say the CoH one. WiC and DoW2 are good. But CoH is by far the best. :P

I dont think any of them is really good. I just want to add Japan to coh, and itll be excellent.

Well I've seen like 3 people TRY and make one at the RelicNews forums. But they all failed due to no OE.

Lol, fast reply.

Well I didnt mean a MOD. But just a general unit and doctrine list.
Doing the mod is the hard part because of Relic mod tools..
But maybe in the future itll work out.

There was supposed to be a WW2 mod coming out for WiC which I was looking forward to, but it got cancelled :( I think i'll wait for Soviet Assault to be released... if it ever does.

DoW has never been much type of game to be honest. I played Dark Crusade for a bit, but the game as a whole never really impressed me. Not a big fan of fantasy games, my brother is more of that type... he's the sort of person who has wasted roughly 150+ days of his life playing WoW (when you add up the hours. And thats just the hours he'd played with XFire running!)

CoH will always be here for us modders! We'll probably keep Eastern Front updated and such, but we may move onto something else. Personally, I'd love a Cold War mod, but i'd prefer an alternate history WW2 mod A LOT more than... well... anything. Also, considering the setting of WW2, its a lot more likely to happen. The 'Maus' anyone?

I'll give my suggestions at the end of the week, but wic soviet assault has been cancelled cos sierra sold world in conflict to ea or summat...

Thx for replying, feedback from devs is especially welcome

They were acquired by Ubisoft; it was cancelled, but Massive kept working on it anyway. They announced somewhere that it should be ready for release in March.

Good news if it's true!

Still think the game coup do with a general realism mod....

Well since Ubisoft acquired them will Massive still be allowed to come out and release it on their own?

Yeah it does!

Returning to possible mods: a cold war mod would be set in an alternative history 1975-85 (probably 79)

Bear with me: this text represents akinda trailer but in words...

"Somewhere in central USA, a single ICBM has been launched" "sources are still unsure as to who authorized this launch..." "Russia today stepped up diplomatic pressure in the UN" "the USA is still insisting that it had nothing to do with the decision to launch the missile" "Russia's arms race MUST stop! This crisis will surely end the world"

In 1979, as the world looks on in shock and awe, the soviet union decides to invade a nearby Islamic country which they consider hostile. They invade Iran.

"America has forcibly entered troops into turkey today in a bold gesture" "Russia has begun a full scale invasion of West Germany and Denmark today"
"such moves have been preempted by NATO specialists for years, how has the ussr come so far?" "American forces moved north of the DMZ into north Korea""an invasion of Alaska has commenced" "folks, I don't know what to do! We've been occupied by a section of soviet forces who've tak..." "this is GRU spetsnaz. All American civilians stay please inside. World war three has begun."

End

Both sides decide against deploying nuclear weapons at any rate...

Let the torrent of comments be unleashed!!!!!!!

will they ever got to sweden'? it would be qinda fun to see some maps of my back yard.

Maybe: the soviets planned to steamroller Sweden by sending assasins to all the viggen pilots houses and killing them  :o

Sweden had a decent army, but in fairness it probably wouldn't have lasted the kind of attack the soviets would use...

This is only one choice so far: keep voting!!!!

Ok I'm afraid to say dow 2 failed to make the cut: if u have voted for dow2 pls vote for another option
