-Installed CoH: ToV fresh
-Installed all patches up to and including 2.601
-Installed EF mod
-Installed 1.2.0.0 launcher(?) update
All I get when I click the shortcut created is the window mentioned in the thread title. If I try click the EF logo I get a pop-up window that asks me if I want go to the EF website.
A li'l help? : /
NB: I have other mods/maps installed, though they don't seem to cause any issues with anything else.

Did you install 1.2.0.0 from the Launcher or from the news on main page?

That's^ all I get. If I try click the actual logo a pop-up box that takes me to the home page appears. Isn't there supposed to be a 'Start' or 'Play' tab...? Before I added the update the game worked, but the Soviets were locked out. Hence why I downloaded the update - in the hope it would fix the Soviet issue.
Please don't tell me I have to re-download the entire 630-odd Megs of it?! :-\
Isn't there an update? I thought that's what the 'launcher update' (87.8Mb) was...? ???

Well, the version that you have its the oldest one i'm afraid :-X... therefore you need to download the the entire 630-odd Megs version and after installing, click on "Check for Updates".
If you don't have a decent internet connection, you can download it from your work if you can ;)... I suggest to download and install JDownloader, it works great as manager :D!!! Well, at least you can pause the files of the EF site.

Though, I don't see why that supposed 'launcher update' I downloaded doesn't simply update the old version...? Is the latest version so different?

In fact has evolved too much :P... If you have EF 1.0 even isn't compatible with 1.01 ;)...

Seems pretty good so far. Couple of issues though:
-It won't let me build a bunker with Soviet engineers saying it has to be in a secure location, not matter how close I build it to the base.
-Is there anyway to equip/activate/allow engineers (or any unit) of any faction with explosive charges in this mod? It helps a heap at choke points and stops cheesy early-game rushes. If not, are there any tutorials on how to add this ability? (*The Europe At War mod has this with the Wehrmacht faction).

1-Outpost must be treated as secure point :P. You shall build it over a MP/Muni/Fuel point and also serve as reinforcement point.
2-Sturmovie Ingenery upgrade from Armory will do the trick.

Gotcha on the outposts thing. But by Ingenery upgrade, are you referring to the satchel charges upgrade the builders can be equipped with? If so, I know about these - they're okay for small overpass-type bridges. But is there anything you can PLANT like what the Axis have? Something you can detonate...?
