Title: Ammo resource income zero

I noticed this after the most recent patch. I would be playing a battle and then after losing some ammo depots, i can never regain my ammo resources. So i could lose a +16 ammo area, recapture it, but it still will not give me my ammo. What is the cause of this, because it is ruining my game when i play a ammo dependent faction, namely the Soviet Union.

Soviet units have an upkeep that drains MP (just like all fractions) but also ammo.

Ok, take this for example; I today was playing the Soviets, and by the end of the game when i had capture 3/4 of the map, i was not receiving any ammo, and the map was Rostov (it occurs on other maps, but i figure i better mention it anyway). So i should have been making at least 32-45 ammo, but i wasn't. I don't understand why after about 20 minutes of playing i can't receive  more than 1 to zero ammo.  ???

Check the 1.20 changelog.
* T70/T90/ZiS AT gun/Mortar/Firebase/ZiS-5 Medic Truck/Katyusha upkeep set at 0.007 munitions per tick (3.36 per min).
* T34-76/T34-85/SU-85/SU-100/Lend-Lease Sherman/KV-2 set upkeep at 0.014 munitions per tick (6.72 per min).
* IS-2/ISU-152 upkeep set at 0.018 munitions per tick (8.64 per min).
5 medium tanks cost 33.6 ammo per minute!
If youll go tank heavy with Soviets its hard to get any upgrades. This ammo upkeep balances wehrmacht vet.
Try building outposts on ammo points.

Let me try this with the other factions, but that ammo upkeep is really hard to control when playing Russia, cause you use the ammo to upgrade your ingerys with flamethrower, call in Il-2 strikes (which i use when ever i get the ammo), and getting upgrades to improve your military. And with this ammo ticker, if the Russian players want to use tanks, they are penalized for it? What is up with that?

Alright, the ammo thing is only for the soviets, sorry for wasting your time. But why was the decision to make Russia lose ammo for every vehicle it deploys made? Was it for balancing reasons, or was it to make playing the Soviets a little more unique.

I have also seen this and thought I wasn't seeing right.  If we've got the same issue, the ammunition count doesn't count up at all after gaining ammunition points.  It makes the game impossible to continue as it locks out lots of upgrades and off-map abilities.

In my most recent skirmish (which I've not finished but have a save if that's useful) the ammo got stuck at 33...

Edit: read that changelog now.  I did have a vehicle deployed - the offmap lend-lease Sherman...how high in ammo point value should it take if I have one of those deployed?  My ammo wasn't climbing at all...yet I had more than one ammo point owned and one of those was capped too.

Just reconfirming.  Same game - skirmish 1v1 - the lendlease tank gets killed so there are no more russian vehicles and I've got an ammo point capped with +8 and yet the ammunition count isn't going up.  I have a firebase, an AT, a mortar and an ambulance at this point, but should that add up to cancelling out a +8?

I have a saved game at this point if that's useful.

AT gun 3.36, Motar 3.36, "ambulance" 3.36 = 3.36 * 3 > 8 = 10.08 > 8

Thankyou for the explanation.  I thought tick = second, but your explanation has set me completely straight.  That makes perfect sense now.  Glad my ammo didn't go backwards now - cheers !

I think it would be good to list down the ammo upkeep cost in the pricetag along with the manpower, pop, fuel ingame somewhere.

2 - recapture it after Krauts walk away
3 - there is no other change to manpower
4 -the Ammo stops collecting.

Maybe you should read it like others:
