Yup...absolutely, but you need your game to be patched to the latest version...that means to 2.601

Nope it works for all the games, you just need to follow the order, first the COH patches, then the OF patches and lastly the ToV ones.

Sounds about right, 2.400 - 2.500 is about the same size.

It adds the OF data, so yes it's huge.

Just keep on patching, from http://cohpatch.relic.com/ (http://cohpatch.relic.com/)

When you are at 2.601 you can validate by logging in. No more disc required.

Are you at 2.601 yet? I guess not. You can't do the login trick until you are at the latest patch.

If you can't register your key or login with your normal account you should ask to CoH support (http://support.thq.com/thq/consumer/search.asp).

steam or "just" backup?

Being steam, if you have the steam app and did a backup from it(you know, Steam->Backup or Restore Games OR Steam->Library->Right Click over the game->Backup).

Being "just" backup moving/copying the folder to another path in order to preserve it.

Download the patches you need from here:

http://cohpatch.relic.com/ (http://cohpatch.relic.com/)

you'll need from "Company of Heroes 2.101 - 2.201.torrent"
then
"Company of Heroes 2.201 - 2.202.torrent" and so on until "Company of Heroes 2.600 - 2.601.torrent".

You can validate after you update to 2.601, I don't know why you stopped updating.

Did you download the patches from the site above or are you using relicdownloader? ???
Title: Re: Eastern Front question
Post by: kaiser1993 on September 14, 2010, 11:31:05 PM
downloaded all the updates from different websites. fileshack etc, so i think it is a relic downloader

As I said before, email to THQ support. They can help you with this issue.

http://support.thq.com/thq/consumer/search.asp (http://support.thq.com/thq/consumer/search.asp)

EDIT:
Relicdownloader is the software that relic bundles with CoH, it starts every time you starts CoH and try to update the game as well. But if you downloaded from a website, that's better :D!! GL with THQ Support.
