Last tank is Т-60, second tank is ИС-3, first tank maybe is ИС-2
American tank is T29.

Actually, I think the first one is an IS-1 since it looks like its using the same gun from the KV-85, without the muzzle break that you see in the early and later production models of the IS-2. Also, it hasn't got a sloped hull so that rules out the late production IS-2 anyway.

That IS-3 looks bad-ass though, wish we could add it to the game. Apparently only 1 saw service and that was waaaay across in Manchuria.

What game is this btw? It looks pretty sweet.

I guessing its Men of War. Looks much better than Faces of War.

I think your right. It certainly doesn't look as good as CoH, but it might play alright. I'll have to see if I can pick it up somewhere.

I got the game today and its surprisingly good, almost like a mix of Commandos and CoH (without the base building). If you can get over the terrible VO Acting and realistic damage system (can be annoying losing a column of T-34's simply because their tracks seem to be made from cheese), underneath its like CoH on low graphics... you never have more than a few tanks at your command, although to can have ALOT of Troops (very hard to micro manage). Decent tanks like the KV-2 are majorly overpowered and can decimate... well, anything. They just drive through houses with impunity! Turret had the turning circle of Jupiter though, so if you have tanks behind you, its alot easier just to turn the entire tank around instead of the turret :P

I'm waiting to find my elusive Josef Stalin tank though, I'll be bouncing off the walls when I get to that stage of the campaign.

Heres a few pics -

Every unit has an inventory (Infantry and Tanks) you can add stuff to, you can pick up any weapon, ammo, armour... even chickens. Strategy is very important, for example, I had to break into a German HQ but there was an MG34 covering the main entrance... so I went to the back of the building and blew down a part of the wall with an Anti-Tank grenade and got in that way. There are ammo crates, broken tanks you can fix up and use, you can even fix up enemy tanks and use them if they're not too heavily damaged. It would be quite possible to take just 1 man and turn him into a supersoldier given you have a good strategy.

Sounds great, is it easy to get hold of over here? It sounds like a bit of an obscure foreign game.

I'd imagine so... you'll probably be able to get it in GAME, HMV or whatever. I doubt you have a Grainger Games anywhere near you since its pretty exclusive to the far North of England, but they sell obscure Japanese stuff that hasn't even been translated properly.

Ah, I downloaded the demo and I must say I am quite impressed. It reminds me of an overhead strategy version of Hidden and Dangerous. I see what you mean about the voice acting, but that doesnt take too much away from an otherwise good squad-based game. Reminds me of the old days, when this sort of strategy was all the rave.

Well, I finished the campaign. It wasn't brilliant to say the least, the infiltration missions annoyed the crap out of me. Another thing got me too, that in a Mission, the AI can have a Tiger and you will not be able to destroy it whatsoever, no matter how hard you fire AP shells at is engine; but as soon as your put in command of the Tiger, the slightest tap from a Valentine III can knock the turret off!

Also, why is their no Skirmish missions with AI? The LAN games look epic! They've added so much crap in there its unreal... IS3 vs MKII Centurion? Please, yes!

Grainger Games is a ledgendary shop, if not really that good. We have one here in Newcastle. Its good for buying cheap PS2 games for the girlfriend haha
