Title: Eastern Front mod does not appeared to be installed on your system error

My Coh updated himself to 2.601. i installed mod same directory. C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes

i runned EF_Launcher.exe. it said "Eastern Front mod does not appeared to be installed on your system.Try reinstalling it." i reinstalled 2 times. if i okey this messege and click play it says "unable to locate COH.
i read some messeages in forum. i tried to set COH directory from EF_launcher but i never save the directory. everytime i re open settings the directory textbox is empty. i tried to set from regedit. i also read it in forum. i added a key named Install?? and values "C:\Program Files(64)\THQ\Company Of Heroes" but i doesn't worked too.

Can you help me?

Look for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Company of Heroes

Make sure that the value stored in path be the correct one, in your case "C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes". If not, change it.  And try to set again the directory on EF Launcher. Also remember to update the game.

Btw, did you install .NET framework 3.5 sp1?

 i will check the reg. if not what will be the reg values name? is "Default" okay? .NET must be installed but i will check the version.

The reg name should be InstallLocation and it's value "C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes".

Nothing works. i installed .Net Framework 4.0 Not only in Win7 it doesn't work WinXP too. i want to play it. :((

.NET Framework doesn't works like that. If your program needs 3.5, no matters if you install 4.0, it won't run. Because it needs the libraries that have that version.

You can install on the same machine .NET Framework 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 and all of them will be handled individually by the OS.

BTW, a new version is out, you should uninstall EF, check in your CoH folder to make sure Eastern_Front folder was wiped out, then download and install it. There are a couple of updates for 1.30 version now but should be downloaded by the launcher.
