Hi all !

-The tank hunter unit  is just useless, it can't take down a Puma, and it takes looooong time before destroying a basic PE half-track ...
I think you should make it a little bit more powerful, not much, but enough to take down a Puma quickly.

-The soviets are the faction which use the most amount of fuel to get a "good" tank. (Exactly 180, if you don't buy any others upgrades ; which is impossible because the infantry is powerless like strelkys or conscripts ...)

Soviets are generally weak vs armored cars.
Most players agreed that mosin rifles should get a pen. buff and PTRD set up time should be reduced to make chasing armored cars easier. This will help defeat PE AC spams but wont help much vs a fast puma.

T-90 and SU-85 will probably be nerfed and as you say T-34/76 is too expenmsive too get so I also belive that the tank depot should be cheaper.

I also think that T-70 should get Stuart armor back and a HP buff so it will be more efective at fighting light armor. (Just like a slower, cheaper british Stag without an MG upgrade).

Tank hunters should be used to support your AT guns if ACs are kiting you. It's no different for the other factions using shreks/bazookas to stop flanks on their AT guns. Don't forget that THs also have very powerful AT nades and mines which cripple movement. THs are fine against all other targets too.

In 1.3 Mosins are getting the penetration buff to help against early halftracks and ACs because it's difficult to get both THs and AT guns that quickly. As soon as you have both though, armour is no problem.

Soviets have the best tanks in the game, so their teching is fine imo. Once you actually access the T-34, it's unbelievably cheap relative to comparable tanks.

Yes, but the next patch will probably nerf allmost all Soviet armor (SU-85, T-90, T-34/85). Im just saing that if all these nerfs will happen, the tank hull could become cheaper.

Light tankovy could perhaps be lowered but I still think heavy is fine where it is. Paciat check your messages.

The Tank Hunters are fine, just use them like the description says: in groups. I usually use 4 of them: they beat every vehicle the PE or WM can throw at me. They are even better in a trench.

You do realise what happens when your tankhunters in a trench meet my mortar halftrack or my wirbelwind do you?

Okay just another thing, what do you use against Luftwaffe pio and panzergrenadiers spam ?

There was 3 luft pios and 2 PG, I tried to kill them with 1 Command Squad, 2 Ingenery and 2 Conscripts NKVD (not the Shafnyies), I was litteraly annihilated ...
Since I can't get tanks, soviets have no MG's (let's hope for the maxim ;D ), Sharpshooter Team is too expensive and useless against all of those Jerrys, Commander Squad hasn't got his upgrade to use arty ...

Soviets are weak in early game !

Sounds like high resources if luftwaffe ground forces were around at that stage. On high resources, there's really no reason not to go for fast strelky with sharpshooter support. As in, don't even need to build conscripts.

Ingenery - CS - Build support barracks - Research medium range upgrade (sharpshooters/AT guns) - Build barracks -  Strelky X2 - Sharpshooter - profit.

Your 2 Strelky, Sharpshooter and CS will dominate at that early stage. Keep building strelky as you continue or build THs if early vehicles are faced. Tech for either tanks with guard support or red banner strelky + support weapons. Works well with propaganda RHS.

No it wasn't on High resources, but the map was Saint-Hilaire (such a big map for 2vs2...). Well thanks for your advice, I'll try it on SP before MP ;)

On standard, my normal BO is:

Ingenery - CS - Build barracks - Conscript X3.

After 3rd conscript is out you should have about 35 fuel which can get you either strafynie or a support barracks upgrade, depending on your teching direction. By the way target the luftwaffe first, they're very weak and you drop the enemy's firepower considerably by killing them.

Regardless of resource level, you shouldn't need more than a single ingenery squad, since they're useless in combat and you can't repair anything anyway at that stage.
