Title: getting the 3D models of tanks and vehicles
Post by: TheReaper on February 05, 2011, 05:17:52 PM: Hi guys, first of all, I'm not an expert in coding or anything to do with creating video games, but I have an idea. I lokked into the web and found websites creating high quality ww2 model. And the fact that people donate for this mod, if the community can afford it the 3d Models could be bought via internet, and implement to the EF mod. I think it's neat model:

Also might be wrong format / filetype... forget which ???

Post by: BurroDiablo on February 05, 2011, 06:01:57 PM: The poly count for those models is over half a million for each vehicle, there is no way they could be run in CoH since the poly limit is 6000.

It takes us minimal effort to create vehicles, the problems are Animations and Skinning.

But, if you guys ever need more cash for anything, just let me know! ;)
