Title: AT guns

Just wondering out of interest..
How does the US 57mm AT gun compare to the russia AT gun (both vanilia and upgraded) in terms of range, accuracy, damage etc ..

Bottom line which is better?

Im not sure about accuracy

I do know that US damage is slightly higher 125 vs 115

soviet gun has superior range 65 vs 60


the upgraded soviet gun adds an extra crew member, makes it do critical damage more often, and increases turn speed i think

There are the same except that the US ATG has 150dmg and 60 range while the ZiS-2 has 125 damage and 57 range. The ZiS-2 has about double the penetration on most tanks than the US 57mm.

US does have AP rounds however

^^ If it were ever a matter to discuss, it would be definitely called OP (by axis players) and thus turned to cost about 100 muni, or even removed at all. ;D

haha that sight bring smile to me. however I dont think the soviet AT gun need AP rounds there already the best in the game!

Well, soviet AT gun somehow did get a strange (IMO) distance nerf and a simultaneous rise of price to that of only 10 mp lower than the STEALTHY MEGA pak, and an even higher one than that latter, after the upgrade is done.
Ah, well, look at me: I'm whining! I shouldn't, - it's still a nice gun.  ;D
But I do get a butthurt every time a STEALTHY pak shoots my ZiS, while being out of its range.  :'(

Maybe that's an axis' moral compensation for being slaughtered by MEGA 120mm vet 1 mortar, shelling them with artillery projectiles from far beyond range of anything they can ever field ;D

Currently it still cost 110 mp + to reinforce just 1 man for the soviet At gun. Is this a mistake of is this intentional because reinforcing 2 men cost me nearly as much as a new one.

Reinforcement cost for ZiS-2 is being normalised and reduced next patch.

I've noticed that soviet AT-guns hit each other with 100% accuracy.

Example: You play Wehr, and killed a soviet AT gun crew. Now you send your units to capture it.

Now the soviet player moves another AT-gun near yours, and starts shooting at it. Every shot will hit and damage your AT-gun.

Since accuracy of all AT-guns against each other was reduced to like 20% this seems to be a bug.

But neither of those changes are for the current patch. After the release of the next Relic's retail patch those changes will be addressed... and looks like now are 10%.

At first I didn't believe that but it looks like its true. Sucks though. Hopefully the new patch will be released soon...
