I noticed that when you start playing the Soviets did not have a team of engineers ready but we must recruit a team and all the other factions have a team of builders ready.
If it is not too hard to make this correction, I hope that we will implement soon.

It's there for balancing, i believe. Also, Panzer Elite don't have starting builders.

Kettenkrads and Schwimmwagens aren't builders. :P (Unless you count potential Mines and Booby Traps.)

Hmm... It has become apparent to me that we are not communicating properly. ;D
Basically, all the factions start with the units they start with for balancing reasons. Thus, there is no problem with the starting Soviet units. Clear?

Indeed, there's no problem to solve. Soviets are designed in that way so don't expect they'll have initial squads.

If the soviets get a starting unit then you can practically throw T1 Wehr and PE inf out the window, they won't even hit the field without incoming conscripts and commanders.
Besides, the lack of the unit represents the un-preparedness for war.

The command squad is already strong enough to deal with a single pio, volks or panzergrenadier squad

Yeah man but yesterday I realised that Command squad isn't as powerfull as rifleman.
I was fighting 3 volks grenadiers squads and my command beat only the 2 of them.
But rifleman throw some grenades and they had destroyed all of them!!! (with 1 rifleman alive... :P)
Please make command unit as powerfull as Rifleman!
And please just add the Soviet Grenade ( I just cant remember what its name is :( - The Grenade is Red and looks like the German Grenade) in command squad :)

How is this related to Bugs/Support? - Locked
Plus, if you check the timing on build orders, you'll see for example that by the time WH has the usual 2 pios+1 Volk+MG, Soviets should have 2 Inginery +Command squad+ 1 conscript squad.
So its all nice and balanced ;D

Ninja'd by Zer, will post this anyway since I wrote it out :P
The no starting unit is to mirror the fact the Soviets weren't prepared for invasion, hence why the Germans made such great advances in the initial days of the war. In all seriousness, the Soviets don't need a starting unit, they are strong enough without one... doesn't take two seconds to place an Ingenery build order.
Also, please learn the difference between a feature and a bug. Just because their are some features different from other factions doesn't make them bugs.
