Title: No Rush mod?
Post by: xXxDivinexXx on April 26, 2011, 05:56:53 PM
Ok before i go ahead and ask this question, AWESOME MOD! I play No Cap, Because me and my friend love large scale battles. A few questions. It may be that we just suck hard at this game. But we just finally beat an easy comp. me and my friend verse 2 easy comps, We suck so bad that we couldnt even beat easy comps cuz they constantly kept taking our flags and stuff, They also build a tank before we even have any thing, Is this because Eastern Mod  ai is tweaked? Anyways we are getting better, We were wondering if we can use the Turtle mod (or some kind of no rush mod) with Eastern Front, It would really be awesome! so just let me know! thx alot guys

Im also wondering if you guys have a teamspeak 3 server.

+1 to "No Rush" mod. I hate fast-gaming.

Reminds me of AoE III and the no rush "treaty" mode that was always a bloodbath  :o ;D

lots of fun but I dont think we'll see that here.
sounds like a lot of work that would take away from our ostheer and reward unit development, that I would rather see instead its more important

Yeah to beat expert AI's keep the pressure on them and dont let them build up or they will roll right over you

gotta harass and cap

Or....

The way I think of it, their really isn't really something (Plan wise) to do. When I was first playing this game (I was Ten, Woaaah) I didn't search the forums or look at a book, I just cept playing until it was kinda instinct. Sure you have helpful hints, but really nothing like "Rush and take points" is gonna help you if you are new or AI is to hard.

@ Red Guard.

It is not so easy like you say ! i always harras and cap because i mostly play US or PE but seriously, bizzy building my 4th rifle squad and teching up and you see that the whermacht or PE halftrack rush you with mp44 or 43 grens while you still need to tech to motorpool or bar.
It is because they get resource faster then you so they can pump out units no matter what.
on Hard they are more realistic to handle then on expert.
I find the Panzer elite easier to handle on Expert then the whermacht.

I remember a game i was playing with friends against AI and seriously, we had like the whole map ! and the AI still knew to pump out masses of panthers and call ins while they only had like 3 capped points left :D

We're starting to get off-topic... Although this thread looks like it's done. I wouldn't mind seeing a no-rush option but I would never use it! Still it might be interesting to see how much momentum you can build up before it is unleashed! However as for a no rush mod ... I'm afraid i'll end up against it!
