i hope im not the only one who thing that the conscript capping speed is 2fast?
i dont think that they are to strong but their capping speed is deadly^^
what do you thing about capping speed like pe´s grenadiers and only after the conscript upgrade they can capp as fast as now?

fear not - SU has been hit very hard with the nerf stick for 1.4

I always thought their cap speed was alright. Yes it's pretty fast but all in all unless you are spamming them early game they get eaten for breakfast by other inf units. They need SOME sort of compensation.
They're cool for late game recaps

mh i like the soviets and if i play soviet its nice to have a fast capping speed^^
but it not the thing that soviets have no other units which can capp fast.
the command squad and the ingenerys have also a nice capping speed so its not necessary that the conscripts can also capp as fast as they can^^
the description of the unit is "they are cannon fodder" and original "undisciplined" i think the funktion of them should be the description. just to push and be cannon fodder untill you get better units!

Conscript's capping speed in 1.31 is 1.5, in 1.40 will be 1.3 iirc.

Before calling some unit's capping speed "decent", it would be nice, if you looked it up first (1.31):
CS 1.5 (350 mp/70 hp x 4 + 120 hp x1) only one is available at a time
ingenery 1 (150 mp/30 hp x 4)
conscripts 1.5 (going to be reduced to 1.3) (224 mp/40 hp x 8, said to be reduced in 1.4, 4 rifles) only 5 are available at a time
pioneers 1 (150 mp/70 x 2)
volks 1 (1.25 in beta; 280 mp/60 hp x 5)
Soviets have no fast sniper, and no hmg at all, as well as no hmg counter until CS vet1 (8 kills of any t1 wehr infantry), 'cause penals are removed.
Oh, yeah! - snipers' health is nerfed, and they are absolutely useless in counter-sniping (no moving camouflage), or infiltration (same reason) - just an artillery call-in unit (for 125 MUN upgrade), that dies right away, as long as some bike is around. And you have to spend 35 FU to get to it.
Balance? - Fuck yeah!

yes but if the conscripts lose 4men they still have 100% combat power
yes i know they are weak but i think it works better to gt the command squad capping speed of 1.6 and reduce the capping speed of the conscripts to 0.9-1.0
but its only a feeling
i think the role of the conscripts sould be the first wave to push the enemy back and be the cannon fodder. so ingenery and command can capp in the background.
and im a soviet player

Look, for just 860 mp wehr gets
1 free pio squad
2 hmgs - 260 x 2 = 520
1 sniper - 340
450 mp to start with, 220 of which go for barracks.
By the time those are buit (with 1 pio squad) you end up with about 420 mp.
soviets:
ingenery - 150 x 2 = 300
CS - 350
concripts - 224
600 mp to start with, 150 of which you have to spend for ingenery.
By the time you build your barracks (100 mp), granted you have purchased your CS in the rught time window, you have enough for 1 consript squad, by the time it is built, you have exactly 150 for 2nd ingenery.

Volks only have a capping speed of 1 which, in the beta, is upped to 1.25 in skirmish phase. Grens and riflemen have 1.5. Conscripts are weakened in 1.4 and their cap speed dropped to 1.3.
