Title: Changes In Britsh and RMC Army
Post by: CesarCK777 on May 16, 2011, 03:21:52 PM
sorry of my bad english but the Britsh army and RMC reward have great problems, like the flame churchill that have the cost 800 mp, like the heavy tanks of another armys (Tiger, Piershing, IS-152) but he is not good against tanks, he need a reduction of mp to 700 our a upgrade of your weapon. The Churchill avre is the unique vehicle that not shot withou a special ability, but pay to use (any artilery in game as free), my idea is decrease the cost, our make free and increase the cooldown.
THE RMC: Is ridiculous control 2 jeeps in one unity, add only one jeep to buy and give upgrades(like upgrade the callibre of mg, anti-tank).

The costs of Churchill tanks are the same on the Vanilla CoH so Devs will not change it I think..this and other vCoH parameter too.
If you play the original CoH you'll find all this things,

About RMC...points of view...I like the two Jeeps.

But in EF the heavy tanks have their cost reduced (the IS-152, Pershing and Tiger have the cost of 800 MP) and the Churchill cannot be compareted with these tanks.

Because in the next official Relic patch those tanks will have that costs.  ;)

Go complain about the RSE doctrine in the beta forum. The devs will not change this.

EF Tiger and Pershing have their cost reduced and that change probably influenced Relic to do the same in the original COH in the next patch (2.602). Why EF did it, I dont know but it was a good decision. Relic will also slightly raise Churchills gun efectivness vs infantry and lower their popcap but thats all.
You shouldnt compare a Churchill Crocodile with a Tiger since a Tiger needs 9 Command Points while Croc only 7. Its like comparing a Wehrmacht PzIV with PE PzIV.

I am pretty sure that the EF devs changed thecost after they had read the first change log for the beta and not the other way around.
Also I think that all Churchills will be better vs. infantry in 2.602 and thus in EF 1.4 aswell.

Nope. The GR experts suggested that change. At that point there wasn't a new patch at sight.

First of all they are not intend to face tanks. However they satisfy the criteria and do splendid for their actual purpose. the price is justified by the mentioned fact.

The Churchill avre is the unique vehicle that not shot withou a special ability, but pay to use (any artilery in game as free).

Comparing the Incomparable? Just rethink about it  ;)

You aren't seriously complaining about a munitions-using ability in RSE doctrine are you? I've never seen games with more munitions floating than with Scots. The AVRE is one of the only uses for munitions.

Yeah, the GameReplays experts had their own internal changelist they wanted implemented and EF added it in 1.2. Relic also got their list recently and put it into the beta. In short GR had it first, but it wasn't implemented in anything, EF added it, then Relic added it.
