Title: I cant get EF to work at all
Post by: PPCLIRCRR22R on May 21, 2011, 09:10:26 PM: Okay after ready many different posts here i cant find a single working solution...

i have retail ToV installed and well whenever i go and download EF it always says its worked but when i go to the actual launcher it says "Eastern Front Mod does not appear to be installed on your system. Please reinstall" which i have and NOTHING seems to work

help would be greatly appreciated

everytime i click on a unit (not sure if it does this in other factions, only know it does for sure in the Soviet one) the game immediately crashes

Read the news feed. EF Is obsolete with 2.602. Wait for 1.4 to come out.

Yes but I am angry that this issue is being repeatedly posted or asked about on the forum when the god damn solution is NOT ONLY on the front page and the news feed, but if you were so inclined to actually find out WHY you were crashing before posting the same topic twice, you would find that there are multiple, no, DOZENS of post and topics acting the SAME QUESTION, which MOST of them have been answered directly.

Don't be lazy and you won't get an angry response.

Uinstall EF, make sure all it's files were deleted. Download and install the fulll installer of EF 1.40.

I REALLY don't feel like posting the link to the solution of this error because it's easily accessible via search and about 3-5 of the same questions concerning the same error pop up daily.

Go through the Bugs and Tech Support forum. See if you find the solution. I guarantee you that you will...
