Title: Launch issues with steam
Post by: LtWigglesworth on May 26, 2011, 06:02:06 AM: I have followed the directions given in the READ BEFORE POSTING!! - List of Issues & Fixes thread and still get the Could not validate media notice. Why would this be and what can i do to fix it? I am running vCOH and OF through steam on a windows 7 64bit system.

Have you had a look at the other posts?
Do you use a virtual drive? If so also disable that.

Apparently its a known bug.

Oh and also try googling it. Since it is vCoH you probably shouldn't have posted here...

Have you tried reinstalling it?
Oh, make sure you are NOT using a crack. Tis very bad for the validators.

Post by: Blackbishop on May 31, 2011, 05:51:03 AM: I remember some user told me when he tried that "validation fix", only worked when using ToV. With the steam version of vCoH and OF didn't work, I haven't tried myself so i don't know if that was luck or if it's true.
