Title: EF doesn't know Coh is up to date.

Ok, I couldn't find anyone with a similar problem, so maybe someone has an idea.

I launch EF launcher (1.4) game starts and (coh) tells me I need a patch of 156mb (2.602) if I say don't download it only lets me play off the CD. If I say "do download" it says download complete immediately and tells me to restart game. When I do it tells me "this patch has already been installed (error code 10243)

any ideas?

Running win 7 x64 ef directory is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes
Have gold edition and TOV retail installed

Could you open regedit (start menu->run->regedit) and looks for this path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Company of Heroes

there should be written the version number, if you don't have 2.602 and you are sure you installed it, change it manually.

Then run EF.

Thanks for the quick reply. I just checked this but version is correct. Any other suggestions? IS there any other info I could give that would help?

OK- I got it. Uninstalled Gold, reinstalled and everything works. Guess I should have tried this first.
