Title: ef 1.4 launcher error

i had E F 1.4 working fine until i installed a diff game which changed my direct x, then game wouldnt start so i changed it back uninstalled both coh and E F then reinstalled and fully patched but the EF launcher encounters an error and needs to close everytime i open it. Coh works fine just EF has problems.

 actually i just updated directx again and she works perfect, but thanx for your advice and quick response, back to kickin ass!!!

would uninstalling and then reinstalling EF possibly work too?  :-\

The launcher could crash for three reasons:

• Because you don't have .NET Framework 3.5 installed.
• Because you didn't run it with admin rights.
• Because you have the autoupdate feature enabled and our server is not available.

So, respectively, the solutions for those problems are:

• Download and install .NET Framework 3.5.
• Run it with admin rights.
• Disable the autoupdater as described in the link above or create a shorcut to avoid using the launcher.
