Woah... They are seriously selling that thing?! :o I would so love to be the lucky bastard that gets to drive that around town! ;D

Does it even work? Id rather ride a BREN carrier than sit inside it thinking about reliable ;D ;D ;D German engineering.
-
I would assume so - I don't see any 'Out of order' sign or anything...

I think you can tow it but i dont think it runs under his own power currently. It was a shoothing range hard target and partly restored to be exhibited in a museum. The buyer has to spend half of the price to bring it back to running order.
-
Most tanks that were put into surpluses have certain parts removed from them to prevent anybody who buys one from firing the main cannon. However it doesn't prevent you from driving them...
That's why some people in America bought Shermans after the war. They were in surplus and most of them had parts like firing pins removed. That way if Americans got angry they couldn't drive a sherman onto the white house and fire. :D
But this lead to sherman rampages where people would hop in the tank and drive through the main roads of their town, crushing everything in their path. Police could do nothing...until the sherman ran outta gas.

Man, it really sucks for it to be used as a practice target. :'(

I recall seeing an advertisement for hiring Shermans to be used as bulldozers, because they were so common after the war, making them cheaper than hiring bulldozers.

I remember a postwar story in witch 2 Wespe were used as farm tractors.

A panther chassis was used to mount a crane on it

I firmly believe OH needs Bergepanther like this one :P
-
don't worry, they have sdkfz 9. It somewhat looks like it, but it's a halftrack.
-
I've seen this jagdpanther, awesome museum in Sinsheim.
They also have a panther with radio controlled tracks and turret. You can control for a minute or two for 2 euro.
Thoroughly recommend it ;D
-
I gonna buy it and live in it! Like a really small klaustrofobic apartment! Imagine the shell racks, excellent for cds or books or comic books! :D
The ladies are going crazy!
-
Yeah, the ladies will fall in love with you when they see what a huge gun you have! :D
-
Hahaha you guys are fantastic ;D

Yeah, it is able to salvage tanks from every spot of the map standing in your base :P
I visited the German Tank Museum in Munster, it was just awesome. They even reconstructed the German A7V-WWI tank!
I have a lot of photos, if someone wants me to upload some of KT or JP, just ask.
Little sneaky peaky:
-
My Grandfather owned a American Sherman. I think he still has it, just with some other guy or something.
-
maybe they will sell this KT too
-
I think this would really fit into my garden decoration.

I'd buy it. Now I have to figure out how to get it in a 30th floor apartment...

Or just repair engine and you drive to the sea, sunbathing and showing lades that you have "big cannon" :P.
-
With "armor-piercing rounds". Ohhhh yeeaaahhhh. ;D
-
When I have to associate women with "armour-piercing".. That's the opposite of "Ohhhhhh yeaahhhhh".. Imagine one of those women with dark hair, tattoos all over her body and yeah - lots of piercings - everywhere!! :-X
-
You sicken me with those thoughts :-X
Too bad there's no barf smiley.
