Title: How do you make you mini map image look good?
Post by: Goober on June 17, 2011, 05:08:00 AM
So I've been messing around, trying to get my minimap image looking good. In the pictures below there is the "Point_du_hoc_mm.tga", and then the actual "Point Du Hoc" mini map. That is just an example. Does anyone have any tips or tricks for easily turning the "mm" picture into the good looking one? It would be helpful in my mapmaking.

P.S. I'm cheap, so I use Gimp 2.

There is a tutorial from neroleone from the German OOH page, however, it's in German and only for Photoshop. I could do the tacmap for you if you like. :)

It's only work of half an hour, no big deal ;)

Hahahaha  ;D

Just send me the files sicilia_mm.tga and sicilia_tml.tga via PM or in an other way when the map is final.  ;)

I was hoping to be done next month, but relatives will be here so I may be doing other things. Sorry about the wait. :(
