Title: Need help updating on Vista

Hello new here and need some help. I have been playing EF Mod since last year and updates were going fine until last month when I updated to the latest patch. Now when I launch I get the normal opening screen offering play online etc but all the dialogue is $300353 or something similar, it is also prompting me for my COH disks which is fine but again when the media is verified i get dollar signs instead of words. I did manage to open a game but it resembled a work in progress with blue gaps on the map. Any help appreciated.

Sounds like the update file was either currupted by a bad download or was blocked by Vista. Try reinstalling CoH and making sure you run everything as administrator. Right click the patch exe and select "Run as administrator" for all patches. Maybe redownload the patch. Hope this helps.
