Use search in future. I posted a pretty extensive comparison between all the infantry AT weapons.

Ahh thnks and sorry :P
you got nothing to apologise for :S

But some of DarkJollys Q's weren't answered in the previous thread :P. Which one fires fastest and best in buildings. I guess that depends on the conditions and variables of the curent situation. Vet matters I think ???
-
PTRD does puny damage but fires fast and accurate (vs vechicles).
PTRD, Bazooka and PIAT have the same penetration tables (low pen) but PIAT has x2 penetration at medium and close ranges.
Recoiless Rifle has the best penetration but does not get any bonuses for rear armor shots and is weak vs tanks with armored skirts.
Wehrmacht Panzershreck does the most dmg, PE shreck is weaker but TankBuster squads with offensine vet bonuses do more dmg with their slightly inferior shrecks. A Wehrmacht Panzershreck in hands of a US vet 3 rifleman is the most powerfull infantry AT weapon ingame.
Here are the damage stats:
PTRD 30
Recoiless Rifle 62,5
Bazooka 75
Piat 90
PE Panzeshreck 105
Wehrmacht Panzershreck 120.

He is asking about are there any variable changes to these weapons when you are in Buildings/Trenches. Do these weapons in anyway fire faster/slower, do more/less damage when in buildings?
-
I guess if you put a TH squad in a building and lets say a Panzer IV rolls up to one of the buldings sides. If that side of the building has 1 window but your TH squad has 2 PTRD's, only 1 can fire, cutting your AT power in half. But again, there are alot of variables and the situation matters. And I dont think buildings offer rate of fire increases. Only protection.

Why not in other's unit hand but vet.3 rifleman?
-
Because of the weapon bonuses vet 3 riflemen get.
-
IIRC the US Rifleman gain both accuracy and damage increases with their vet. So at vet 3 they're very powerfu :Pl and only make the weapons they're holding more powerful :o, in this case a panzershreck.
And other units veterency(For ex: Grenadier) only add defense and survivability 8). Brits need officers and Im not sure if Vetted officers or stacked officers >:( would be better than Vet 3 Rifleman. And Im not sure if PE full off. vet would beat Vet 3 Rifleman. Someone confirm this :P
-
Rangers, airborne and riflemen get by far the best and most powerful vet in the game. PE get some pretty great bonuses too but even that's nothing compared to US infantry vet. A vet3 riflesquad gets:
0.8 received accuracy (-20%)
1.65 accuracy (+65%)
0.85 received damage (-15%)
0.75 received suppression (-25%)
1.5 damage (+50%)
(+6 sticky bomb throw range)
All the offensive benefits apply to the weapons they're holding. That means a captured Wehr shrek that normally does 120 damage gets +65% accuracy and deals 180 damage in the hands of a vet3 riflesquad.
Units get no offensive bonuses from sitting in trenches or buildings.

I think I read somewhere piats do more damage and have more accuracy in a builiding since normally the piats shoots up, but when its in a building its straight down.

Assuming the building has 2 or more floors. Plus I'm not sure of the validity of this.
