I don't know if this has been discussed before, but why do the Naval Infantry have several ammo belts hanging off them? They're not machine gunners and the DP-28 uses drum ammo.
(and yes, I used the search function before I posted this)

Because that's the way the modeler/skinner made them. Naval infantry are supposed to be proficient in a large variety of weapons and using MGs is one of their roles in the game as well since Soviets don't have many units that can capture weapons. They also have their own DP-28s that they use (I don't think they're belt-fed but still).
-
The DP-28 uses a large circular magazine, but yeah, I guess you're right.
-
Perhaps because some photographs depict them like that:

Hmm. Interesting.
...Actually that makes sense from a visual perspective; if they didn't have those they would look like regular sailors.
Alright, thanks guys. :)

that bulets is for mosin nagant
they dont use magazines
IMO
sorry for my english
-
I guess they just pull the bullets off the belt they sling around their shoulders and stick them in one at a time :P
-
I don't know about that. Those bullets seem too big to be rifle ammo.
They specifically look like they're for a belt-fed weapon. I don't think think they can detach.
But then again, I'm probably wrong.
-
they look more bad-ass 8) cool skin for cool infantry ;)
-
Did soviets have any single infantry weapons that used big bullets like that? Super Mosin Nagant ;D?
