Hi guys,
This is a question I would like to have a community answer to.
In 1v1 would you consider the RMC to be OP or not?
in your reply please give legitimate reasons for you answer.
Not just "OMG I LOST AGAINST THEM" ::) I know in 2v2 they are OP
but in 1v1 it seemed not so bad, but then again, I am not the highest ranked player. ;D

all the people i have played tryed to play them as a turtle faction like the old brits and so i whopped their asses :D

yes you need to play more offensive with them
its not a simcity army^^

but if you play them right they are realy op and in combination with soviets nearly impossible to counter (if both players are skilled players)

This might be why I didn't see them as OP either. The games I played against them I generally won.

RMC is generally not too OP; only 1-2 factors contributing to it.  They are however, epic fail, and a disgusting faction.

It was supposed to fix Brit blob gameplay, yet Tommy blobbing still exists, not to mention the infamous bus fucking.  Don't even get me started about the skins either.

especially vs PE RMC are totally imbalanced and way to overpowered... jeeps own (better rape) all enemy vehicles from t1-t4... no chance as PE

Yea they are definitely OP vs PE; especially the fucking AT jeeps.

Part of it also has something to do with the nature of the factions however.  If you look at vanilla Brits, they also have so much bullshit strategies against PE.  From Tommy spam to Gayhound spam, PE has an incredibly hard time to win against Brits if they don't shut them down 10 minutes into the game.

well part of the faction (in vCOH) is, that PE is very fast and brits are very slow... but RMC are so fast, that is the big problem for PE...

i have the feeling like that SAS-support-jeeps do a little too much damage with the vickers-k MG. it often kills one inf-guy with only one burst oO

And don't tell me you didn't get the idea for this unit from Call of Duty 3 :D

For 450MP it's supposed to be quite potent.

Yes RMC is a bit OP at the moment. RMC overhaul will be a large part of the patch to come.

well the vanilla brits are just awful to play as, rmc actually makes it a viable choice, gives a small amount of aggressive play possible with SAS raiders and a couple of jeeps. achilles finally a half decent td for brits.

although i'm sure there's lots of fixes that could be done with them i'm quite happy with them atm.

First of all, my english is bad, sorry for it.

To me theyre not OP, theyre bugged, a good idea and bad execution. In 2v2 nobody is OP as Vanilla Brit.

The first problem: they should have their own doctrines;

Second: Liutenant costing 25 fuel ruins the game, since they dont have the bonus resources locking territory. Add this fuel cost to the Glider. The IS are weaker, making then more dependent of Liutenant, you loose one Lt, you often loose the game. The Lt are very vulnerable, i frequently loose a vet2 full health to one main gun shot maximun range from a panther with no vets, and the schreks also have "luck" against then. And the RMC Lt should not have "fire up" in any vet level.

Third: The Jeeps are good idea, but they should come as two separated units, like panther battle group. Recoiless Rifle should not shoot on movement and have range nerfed.

Your english is actually pretty good :P

I think your kinda right about the fire up for Lt. and the recon jeeps though. Make them seperate + nerf em' a bir=t  :P

Deciding what to do with RMC is on our list of things to do but isn't our priority at the moment. Soviet balance is almost final and will come first. Mapping is another easy change we're currently working on and will also come before RMC. After that, we can work out what to do with them.
