Title: royal marine engineers

Has anyone else noticed that when starting there are five engineers and one dies...I have tried changing it to have five it builds then kills the 5th one any ideas?

It's supposed to do that. It's a side effect of vBrits having the 5 man recon section. One man has to die so it can become the sapper squad. It used to be that you would get a 5/4 sapper squad but not anymore.

Is there a way to change it? Have tried changing the load out but it still kills the 5th guy?

No I mean it's intended, and coded in by the developers for the reason that Brits have too strong a starting unit. In RMC this was nerfed to a 4 man sapper squad rather than the 5 man recon team of vBrits.

Indeed, although @Walki1 gave me a tip to remove the dead soldier, I'll need to find time to test it ;D.
