I've noticed that the Soviet MG bunker performs rather poorly compared to other MG bunkers. Now I guess that's fine, the Soviets are an offensive faction, so having a really powerful defensive building doesn't exactly fit them too well. However, I've as of late noticed Pioneers with Flammenwerfers running straight at my bunkers, and still manage to run over to the bunker, start flaming away and still not even become suppressed. In worst case scenarios I've even seen a volks squad and a pio squad both run up to it, neither being suppressed and actually take down the bunker without losing a single man. Shouldn't they perhaps at least have become supressed? ???

It'd be interesting to see how the suppression values of the different bunkers compares.

I know Im not a balancer but do you have a replay of this instance  ???. I'd honestly like to see if this is true  :P

I wish I did! I usually come to think of these little annoyances I've seen throughout my game AFTER I've clicked past the score screen when my friends and I discuss the game we just played. I'll try to get a replay of this sometime.

AFAIK, the Soviet MG is identical to the British Vickers. We nerfed it's range slightly though so it doesn't cover the fuel point on Semois.

but is that patch released yet? last time i checked it still covered the fuel point.

That change is included only in the internal version at the moment ;D.

i thought so. you balancers an devs and admins forget that we "lower class citizens" so to speak, dont get the same priveledges. ;)

Because the Soviets are not as defensive as the british and they should not preform as campy as the British do.

TL;DR Win a game without a MG

what does TL;DR mean?

I think the MG cost ore for SU b/c its not part of their game play so they keep it there but make the price pretty high so that it cant be built early (not by any sensible player) and descourages spamming them :P. Its like a add on.
