Just wondering if you could put this music on the menu or something cause I really like it!

Or maybe you could do it after a victory or when the enemy has under 50 victory points or something like that...

No, Alex Cotrell, our in house musician, has designed a great custom soundtrack and we will not use other music
-
From what I heard the famouse soviet national anthem wasent in use during most of the war. It entered service around 1944. Before that it was The Internationale ! <3

Did Alex Cotrell do the music that plays in the game lobby? If so I want to say it's awesome.
-
Indeed he did
-
not to bad still a good official soviet song couldn't hurt :)
-
Maybe for when ever the soviets win a battle on the Berlin map, that would be an appropriate time to add it as a cameo
-
Soviets used The Internationale as an national anthem up to 1944 and after that they had the current melody, but with other lyrics, that were taken out after Stalins death (De-Stalinization). If you are to add it to some part of the game, don't use the 1977 version, that he linked.

United forever in friendship and labor,
Our mighty Republics will ever endure.
The great Soviet Union will live through the ages.
The dream of a people their fortress secure. :)
If we do add it into the game, I wish it will be the 1977 version. I dislike the ones with the word "Stalin" in it.

I love Soviet National Anthem for various reason and I don't have typical American cold-war-styled viewpoint against Soviet, but I disagree.
1) Soviet National Anthem declared April 1944, in late phase of war.
2) 1944 version - It has ideological problem, cause it has too much "Stalin" in it. They made it when Stalin's power was at its height.
And I feel uncomfortable listening Stalin-worshiping anthem. Even now historical revisionists are causing trouble in Russia.
3) 1970s version - simply, it has not been used back then.
How about famous military marching songs like "Katyusha" or "The Red Army is the strongest"?
have been used by Soviet Army, and have no ideological problem.
