Hey so i was playing EF as the Wehr and i am using blitzkreig i send a Stuh 42 and there a few squads of russian Conscripts so i think easy for my tank. Then they throw a molotov and it does some pretty decent damage to my tank and i'm not sure if its suppose to do that or what. Thanks ;D

Just to make sure we have the same concept of "decent damage" ;).

Replay or it didn't happen.
Molotovs are supposed to do minor to medium damage to tanks.

I've seen only minimal damage from molotovs in 1.6 maybe 1-2 criticals-no replay though so maybe not.
damage to vehicles was much less than before the nerf.
Molotov's damaged Medium tanks - thought that only lt vehicles were susceptable after nerf?

I have seen Vetted Naval infantry press in and do some pretty severe damage with the good old molotov. But conscripts? Was the Stuh Upgraded/Vet or stock? ???

Vet does not effect a molotov. Just like Rifle vet doesn't effect pinnapple nades.

Molotovs seem to do good damage over time. If your tank gets hit with one, or even two or three cocktails, pull it back from the fight and you'll probably escape without too much damage. Howeer, I have offed a StuG by tossing two molotovs on it and watching it burn up.

Hence the qualifier, Press In, Naval Infantry are tough and can get in close to throw the molotovs. Conscripts wilt under heavy fire and have a terrible go of using their molotovs against armor.

When attacking heavier vehicles with incendiaries try to approach from the rear or flanks. PE's ket booby traps inflict damage for 5 seconds. the incendiary then reduces health for a more extended time. the ket does not have a strong incendiary trap as these things go. (It improves when the boobytrap SP ability is available). the Conscript molotov is a weak incendiary a well but the same principle applies. I think the NI molotov is stronger than the conscript one. the NI incendiary attack is probably equal to PG grenades. If you are attacking a vehicle with a fixed or limited arc of fire kite your NI/conscript/PG behind the AFV.It will keep rotating to acquire you as a target and remain in the incendiary radius longer. Any incidental small arms fire on the rear of a vehicle assists your efforts. the penetration bonuses for a rear hit .being what they are

I think the reason Conscript molotovs seem to do less dmg than NI is because when Cons throw their molotov and resume fire, they do less dmg than say a NI squad or a PE squad would if you know what Im saying. It gives the illusion that its doing more dmg but in reality its the squad itself

Molotovs and other incendiaries (except flamers probably) are area effects weapons; like grenades. the weapon does the damage not the squad.
