After the last patch when I start game it sometimes freezes in MAIN menu, its all slow, music lagging, cant create a game or Exit.
I must restart my PC, and I did it 5 times, It also happens on my laptop sometimes.
Playing Eastern front for 3 years, never happened before something like this.

Tales of Valor is working fine both on PC and Laptop...

Run ToV and try to disable the music, save and run EF. As the profile config file is shared EF should start without music as well.
I don't think it has to do with the music though :-\.
Btw, which are your PC specs?

well you re right, music is no problem here..i think that new patch that has been released recently is a problem because problems started after that patch update..the same problem was on my laptop,so now i switched back to old patch 1.6.0.1, and now everything works fine, on pc and laptop,no more problems.
PC specifications : AMD Phenom II X4 3,5Ghz , 4Gb ddr3 ram 1333Mhz, Ati Radeon 6850 1Gb, Windows 7 Sp1, (hdd 30GB free space always)

I had some issues similar to this. For me, the entire game seems to slow down. There is lag in the mouse, the moving background freezes up and jumps forward to catch up, even the sound is weird. Basically it seems like the game slows down until it finally freezes up. It all happens in under a minute, so if I see it starting I have to exit quickly, or reboot my system. It goes away after a bit though. I have found that not playing for a few days will fix it (no clue why).
